This, the Saturday AFTER Thanksgiving, I have a lot to be thankful for.

First, I'm thankful my husband is retired from the Army after 24 years active duty and two combat tours to Iraq. Being alone on Thanksgiving, several states away from any family (with two little kiddos) made for some lonely holidays during our marriage. I'm so thankful he's home and he's healthy, happy and always wonderful to us.

I'm thankful for my two children. They are smart, kind hearted and all around good little people. I'm so proud to be their Mom...

I'm thankful for my Dad. I'm a Daddy's girl through and through and I thank God daily I have him in my life.

And, I'm thankful for you and my other favorite bloggers. Ya'll make the internet interesting.

On a superficial note, I'm thankful to my FAVORITE college team Auburn for beating Alabama yesterday. Being from the state, you take sides at birth lol. Enduring a year of "Roll Tide, Roll!!" from opposing family members back home would have been crap lol. WAR DAMN EAGLE! :).Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17775168777985583165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20147126.post-20971384628448290172010-11-26T08:06:10.731-06:002010-11-26T08:06:10.731-06:00All of the above. And on this day, the day after Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for having the good sense to avoid Black Friday sales, and for Malcolm Jenkins, whose late 4th quarter interception rallied the Saints for a come-from-behind victory over the Cowpokes.Moogie Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05665429537064900337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20147126.post-60129244882840619262010-11-25T14:07:20.738-06:002010-11-25T14:07:20.738-06:00I'm thankful that I have friends that accept m...I'm thankful that I have friends that accept me just the way I am, forgive my faults, and support me when I need it, be it covering my back while I'm going in (so to speak)223 or washing the dishes.

Happy Thanksgiving R.

BrigidHome on the Rangehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03836315423040719919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20147126.post-28774298893997890562010-11-25T12:51:27.159-06:002010-11-25T12:51:27.159-06:00My family, my health, my job and my friends... I am even grateful for pscyo Stella and Claire - although I have yet to teach her to tell what day it is and weekends and holidays are NOT days that I get up at 4:30 a.m. to let her outside.

I am thankful that at least some Democrats had the wherewithall to push back against Nancy Pelosi and her forever quest to screw up the House and this country rather than playing dead when she ran for Minority leader.

I too am grateful that I have a job that I can at least tolerate in spite of the fact those above me worry more about their own political rear ends and not doing what is right.Katherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06132525219864075222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20147126.post-28278038253749933482010-11-25T07:30:42.864-06:002010-11-25T07:30:42.864-06:00As I'm the "gun-toting weirdo" in th...As I'm the "gun-toting weirdo" in the family, some of our out-of-town family visiting this weekend will indulge their presumed dark-side and want to try some hand guns while here. I'll oblige them on Sunday and one or two will decide that maybe "guns" aren't so evil after all, that maybe the evil lies elsewhere.

I'll be an educator.
