This problem was not well-recieved by the British inspectors, for whom absolute standardisation was a'must-have'. Hence the very comprehensive markings on both metal and woodwork of all P14s! I do not beleive that the Pattern 14 was chambered like that. I reload for mine without a problem. But I also reload for my SMLEs and #4mk1s, too. Just gotta keep an eye on the brass and not go max hot with it.Murphy's Lawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17164780742334950772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20147126.post-56226498594385291532012-11-02T21:33:15.268-05:002012-11-02T21:33:15.268-05:00Question..

Many case head separations due to the excessive head space.

Does the Patter 14 rifle have this problem?Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11635784352780834494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20147126.post-15517073534101823172012-11-02T11:08:35.951-05:002012-11-02T11:08:35.951-05:00Nice i had a P17 Made by Winchester in Dec 1918 be...Nice i had a P17 Made by Winchester in Dec 1918 beautifull rifle trouble was after my strokes i found it kicked me to hard and sold it to a long time friend, kept the bayonet though,i want the rifle back.Ajdshootisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13532597957691648305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20147126.post-78938862575774225052012-11-01T13:40:55.177-05:002012-11-01T13:40:55.177-05:00@ Keads: Actually I do have one in .30-06, too.
