And what situation is that? Why it's the one where Mexican army and police units working with and for the Mexican drug gangs repeatedly invade US territory and threaten US law enforcement.
You can read about it here.
This crap comes on the heels of the Mexican government giving illegal aliens maps telling them the best way to sneak into our country.
You can read about that here.
And of course we've got this case where two illegal aliens trespassed into our country and onto private property. They were detained by the landowner but then they sued that landowner with the help of an American liberal group and now own his land. Their injury? They were frightened for a few minutes and allegedly hit once or twice.
So American citizens now lose their land to people who aren't even supposed to be in our country because the US government allows them to stay in our country to bring the lawsuit while other Americans are threatened by Mexican military machine guns that no doubt were given to Mexico as foreign aid by the US in the first place.
And the US is still infested with MILLIONS of illegals who steal jobs from American workers, violate our laws with impunity, and send our money back to their home countries.
I've had it. Straight up had it.
It's past time for a wall on our southern border. I really don't care how loudly the Mexican government cries about the "rights" of their citizens to "travel freely" into our country. They don't allow foreigners from countries south of Mexico to cross into their country but we're supposed to let their citizens come here? And what do the Mexicans do when Americans cross illegally into Mexico or otherwise break their laws, say for example, by bringing a gun or even a few rounds of ammunition over the border? They get hard time in a Mexican prison and Mexico refuses to release them no matter how much our State Department protests. And what Texan, New Mexican or Arizona resident doesn't own and carry a gun in their car? They have to, mainly because of all the illegal Mexicans that try to rob them and steal their cars! But if we jail one of those Mexicans, the Mexican Consul goes nuts and all but sets himself on fire in front of the jail and we usually just let the illegal Mexican criminal quietly go home.
Don't even get me started on the number of Mexicans who murder US citizens--including police officers--then flee to safe haven back in Mexico. The Mexican government refuses to extradite and Mexican who could face either the death penalty or a life sentence. This has resulted in several hundred killers sitting around Mexico drinking beer and laughing at their victims' families in the US.
Article.
I'm calling for war on Mexico.
I'll agree to a limited, defensive war first. This consists of sealing our southern border to prevent the crossing by anyone except through government checkpoints. If that means a wall, a hundred miles of empty space with no water or roads where illegals can catch rides, fine. Heck, I think we need to deploy land mines and label the stretch along the border a free-fire zone, allowing any US law officer or soldier to fire on anyone in that zone. Whatever it takes, we need to reclaim our borders. Remember, it's not just job-strealers and drug dealers that sneak across our undefended southern border. Muslim terrorists are known to have crossed into the US there as well.
I also think we need to start rounding up and deporting every illegal in this country, starting with the ones who commit even the most petty crimes. Right now, an illegal can be arrested for almost any misdemeanor, tried, jailed, and released right back into the US community that he was found in. I've personally arrested dozens for drunk driving, drugs, driving without a license or insurance, public drunkeness, fishing law violations, etc. They don't respect any of our laws or our culture and they know that they're safe. They can do what they want and they know that they'll still be allowed to stay in this country, sending their kids to our schools for free and burdening our health care sytems, often while not paying a dime in taxes. Right now, money sent back to Mexico from Mexicans in this country (legal and illegal) is the second biggest source of revenue in Mexico, behind oil exports but above tourism. I say we hit the Mexican government where it hurts and start sending all their citizens back while taking steps to prevent the transfer of US funds across the border from illegal immigrants.
And while we're cleaning house of the Mexican illegals, we need to go farther with the deportation of the Salvadoran gang members that are fast becoming the largest organized law enforcement problem in America. But I'll save that topic for another post. This one needs to stay focused on the Mexican problem.
And my limited defensive war is only a start. We need to cut foreign aid to Mexico until their government stops trying to breach our borders and subvert our economy. When they get serious about helping us, then we can start helping them again. But in the meantime, we need to stop sending them cash and military goods and we need to pull back all of those US companies that set up shop just over the Mexican border to take advantage of the cheap labor. If the Mexicans want to play hardball over the illegals issue, we'll cut ALL the economic ties and see what happens. And if they still don't get straight, we may need to make it an offensive war. Back in 1915, we sent 10,000 US troops into Mexico because that government wouldn't stop bandits like Pancho Villa from terrorizing American border towns.
I'll argue that what's happening today is much more serious then the events that led the US to send the calvary under Black Jack Pershing south across the border and perhaps it's time for the choppers and tanks to deploy and seize enough Mexican territory that we can create a permanent buffer zone sufficient to keep America safe. And if Mexico won't give up those who kill our citizens, it's probably time for Delta Force and the CIA to go in after them and capture or kill each and every fugitive who took the life of an American.
As President Reagan once said so well: "You can run, but you can't hide."
Now none if this need happen. All that's really needed is a common-sense approach to border security coupled with the serious cooperation of the Mexican government. But as the latter will never come about and the former is a pipe dream due to the panderers in both political parties who care more for Hispanic votes than they do for National Security, it may well come to pass that we wind up involved in actual hostilities with Mexico one day.
Of course half of Mexico's soldiers are already here, mostly putting up drywall in Maryland and washing dishes in Washington DC.
