This would be Kathy Griffin, alleged comedienne, who decided to subject the audience at her New York City show to an eight-minute diatribe against President Bush according to this witty and attractive reviewer. And not content with bashing the President, Griffith reportedly went after the President's wife in a very un-funny way, dredging up a car accident that Laura Bush was involved in as a teen. Remember folks--these are the same lefties that always told us that Chelsea Clinton was off-limits for mockery and so was anything that every happened before Bill and Hillary Clinton infested the White House.
But besides this pathetic double standard that Liberals always display, the idea that an entertainer somehow has license to blast a paying audience with his or her personal political views after those people put good money down to be amused and entertained just doesn't set well with me. (Or with a lot of other Americans. Linda Ronstadt has been booed off of several stages for doing this and even got booted from a contract at a Vegas casino because she wouldn't quit.) This apparently didn't bring Griffin a ton of laughs either and it's probably good that I wasn't there as there's no way that I'd sit in a seat that I paid for and listen to that crap without loudly objecting and suggesting that she just shut up about and stick to telling jokes her worn-out jokes about how gay Clak Aiken supposedly is..
I've recommended it before and I'll recommend it again. We need to vote with our $$$ and not patronize these nasty elitist Liberals who confuse an audience who just wants to be entertained with one that wants to be politically indoctrinated.
