Poor Al Sharpton. He just can't catch a break. He was so busy trying to foment rioting in New York City yesterday this his 2007 Jaguar got towed away due to his owing $900 in parking tickets.
STORY
It's noteworthy that when the car got towed, he was meeting with corrupt Congressman John Conyers, (D)--MI. Why Conyers was in New York instead of DC or his district was not explained, but since his voter base in Detroit gives him and his foul-mouthed wife a pass on every illegal or unethical thing that they do, we can't exactly be surprised.
What is interesting though is how Sharpton can afford to drive a 2007 Jaguar. I mean, doesn't he get his money from the poor black people that he claims to help and support? Obviously if he's doing so well that he can drive luxury cars and wear designer suits, he's helping himself to a lot of money that could be improving the lives of the people that he fleeces.
Of course you'd think that anyone who can rip off the people for enough money to live in luxury could also con them out of a little bit more in order to pay his parking tickets, or in the alternative, at least enough to feed the meters. But I guess that when you get to be an icon like Al Sharpton, that means that you can park where you want. Parking meters are just for the common people, eh Al?
I guess Al will shut the city down for towing his car.
