Just another gratuitous deer shot
Mama and her two fawns--both of whom are getting big now--stopped by for some corn this morning.I remember when they were tiny spotted things. She used to have three little spotted fawns, but then suddenly there were just two. Nature is seldom kind. These three are my most frequent and regular visitors, coming around daily, and Mama makes sure that no other deer encroach when her babies are eating. She'll chase off any other deer that gets near, which is why I now have to put corn out in two spots--one for these three and one for any other deer that stop by.
