I have got to start my own gun buy-back

If I'd done one in Brooklyn, I'd have nabbed me an Uzi parts set.
A gun owner said goodbye to his little friend.

An example of Tony Montana's weapon of choice was taken off the streets yesterday when the owner of an Uzi machine gun exchanged it for $200 at a Bronx gun buyback, a source said.

The "Scarface"-style automatic weapon was one of 354 guns handed over in the annual Bronx money-for-guns program. Participants received $20 or $200 bank cards for operable weapons, depending on their type.

Cops collected the guns at three churches in areas with spikes in shootings, said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.

Diaz stopped at Bronx Pentecostal Church on Watson Avenue and Our Lady of Grace on Bronxwood Avenue, where someone turned in the Uzi.

"Any day that you get an Uzi off the streets of The Bronx is a good day," Diaz said.
OK, I admit it. I ran to my gun room to make sure that mine was still in there. It was.
Heck, I'd have paid THREE hundred bucks for that Uzi just for the parts...if, of course, if was really a submachine gun and not just a semi-auto or an airsoft.

Personally, I'm betting that it was one of the latter two. But hey--if the media says it, it must be true, right?
