Saturday Man Movie

Burt Reynolds and Jan Michael-Vincent show us how movie stunts used to be made back before computer graphics in this clip from the 1978 movie Hooper.

  1. Yep, no CGI on that one... :-)

  2. A great flick. I also like the original Gone in Sixty Seconds for non CGI stuff.

  3. Now I want to go watch a Saturday man movie. Perhaps Bullett again. If Steve McQueen was any cooler he'd have condensation problems.

No way! I saw this exact clip on AMC years ago and had no idea what movie it was. I've been searching, without success, ever since. Now I know. Thanks a ton!

  5. @ B., Bullett? With the 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390 CID Fastback? I concur, way cool!

A lot of people back in the day made good money doing conversions.

Then everyone wanted a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 Eleanor repro after the Nick Cage remake of "Gone in Sixty Seconds". Sad really. The cars are generally worth more in original condition.
