In Streets of Fire, Michael Pare was cool, Diane Lane was smoking hot, Willem Dafoe was evil, and everyone glowered and spoke in one-sentence lines.
Of course they had a fight at the end. With hammers.
A great movie to watch with your friends...unless everyone's sober. Then it's kinda stupid.
Nice movie choice. I just rewatched it not too long ago. There were plans to make two sequels but it bombed at the box office.
ReplyDeleteStill an awesome soundtrack though

ReplyDeleteDiane Lane is ALWAYS hot!
ReplyDeleteI agree with armedlaughing. Diane is ALWAYS hot. My personal favorites? (Dating myself): THE COTTON CLUB, and Diane Lane vs. Joan Chen in the catfight in JUDGE DREDD. The former is DL as Jean Harlow, the latter is an otherwise dreadful movie (ouch!) but in the female department... yes. Oh, yes. Yes.

ReplyDeleteA favorite and enjoy the music...lots...Thanks for this little reminder.
