Heh...watched a bit of this earlier on TV, while folding laundry. Love that line, in the scene where the Comancheros are attacking the wagon train, and the old Indian looks at the old lady as Josey rides up, and says "Get ready, little lady. Hell is coming to breakfast." Love that line!
I can see coming back, but since you were already outside, why not draw that pistol and walk back in shooting? That walking back in and then not being able to get your shootin' iron otta yur belt seems kinda stupid.
Good one, and yeah, there comes a time to just stop!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteRemember the scene where Josey and the other rebel boy are crossing on the ferry and Josey shoots the rope that is attached to the ferry boat?
ReplyDeleteYou ever wonder why Josey just didn't cut the rope, since it was right there?
@ Bob: because shooting the rope was just so much cooler, and Josey wales was all about cool.
