Back at Thunder over Michigan, they had one of my all-time favorites back again--the North American F-86 Sabre Jet.
Chuck Yeager and Bob Hoover both described it as one of the sweetest jets that they'd ever flown as it still handled like a high-performance prop fighter.
It flew here, as part of the Heritage flight with the North American P-51 Mustang and the North American F-100F Super Sabre.
And here it is, coming back to it's parking spot and passing several other classics.
Love that aircraft! Built model after model of it. Became even appreciative after I actually found out its service record.
