My church family rocks.

So we got new snow today. Not much, just a few inches, but it's the wet kind that was just waiting for the temps to drop so it could freeze solid, turning my long inclined driveway into a toboggan run for my SUV. My leg being what it is, I can't shovel at present.

But just when I was pondering a solution to this problem, four people from my church showed up and shoveled the drive AND they brought wood for my stove up from the basement AND they fixed one of the holes in the fence where Belle ducks out.

I have some great church family. I really need to try to be more like them and less like...well less like me.

  4. More Jesus, less me. Its always a struggle to overcome the sin inside and live more like He did.

  5. Now... when the thaw comes... PAY IT FORWARD.

I am sure there are those near you that are in need to.

  6. Happy for you & for them. That's what the family's all about! (BTW, did you contemplate harnessing M & B to pull something to clear the drive????)
    Love you

  7. Cool! My approach has been to ignore it and hope it goes away. Since we've got 3 more storms stacked up for the next couple weeks that may not work but oh well.
