RIP, Eli Wallach

One of Hollywood's great character actors from the days when real men made real movies, Eli Wallach passed away yesterday at the age of 98.

He served for five years in World War Two in the US Army Medical Corps where he was discharged as a captain at war's end before starting out his acting career on Broadway in 1945. He went on to star in movies such as "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", and "The Magnificent Seven",
