Oscar Pistorius

So South Africa's star double-amputee Olympic runner was just found not guilty of murder but guilty of culpable homicide in the death of his girlfriend last year.

Sources say that he's vowing an appeal, but the judge says that he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

What? Too soon?

  1. Jokes aside - it's a Bloody Miscarraige of Justice!!!

What holder of a valid gun license, who had been to the range to "practice" (on, amongst other things, the effect of bullets into a watermelon) could not deduce that four shots into a small toliet area wasn't going to harm or kill anyone inside????

I feel for Reeva's parents. They are without their daughter, AND they do not have the saisfaction of knowing that the person who ended her life has been found not guilty of murdering her.

But, the ramifications of these findings are huge - anyone in this country, who is armed with a gun, can now take another's life and figure out some feeble excuse as to why they are not guilty. The precedent has been set...
