Facepalm

So I put the dogs out in the pen, secure in the knowledge that neither of them would go anywhere while I caught up on some work around the Lair.

Half an hour or so later, I walk into my kitchen and I see this:
Dammit. Belle's out of the pen again.

We actually made it three weeks and two days without a Belle break. Guess the counter gets reset back to zero again.

  1. You really shouldn't leave "Stalag 17" out where she can watch it.

  2. Maybe you should change your name to Klink. Or maybe Schultz.

Does Belle have a tunnel leading to a hollowed out tree stump somewhere?

    Just wondering...

  6. Hey Murphy,

She figured out another way...perhaps one of those new fangled video camera's at the pen? Just a thought.......

    1. At least this time I know how she did it. I found a section of fence that she bent down and climbed over, complete with fresh paw-marks in the dirt where she launched herself.

Looks like it's back to the store for yet another fence post.

  8. I hope they're chipped. But at least the Young Missy seems to go home after her adventures.

    1. Oh yeah. Definitely chipped. Both of them. And Belle never really goes anywhere when she gets out. Usually she just plays in the yard or goes next door to see what the cats are up to. And she always comes back the first time I call.
