Now that Mardi Gras is over...

it's time for St. Patrick's Day parades. Had one this past week-end and got another one next week-end.

Meanwhile, back on the home front, the dogs broke some of the fencing under the house and got out again.
Belle came right back, because she's a gem, but I had to chase Murphy for seven blocks in the car...and the furry bastard has learned to go the wrong way down one-way streets!

  1. St Paddy's Day, wild and crazy dogs, parades in the Big Easy.

    Good stuff Murph, good stuff.

(Has Murphy ever been offered a job with Covert Ops?, He sounds like a natural...)

  2. Damn dogs will do it every time!
Regarding the chi-hooa-hooas - the 'puppy' (2 1/2 year old Lola) will run out if unresticted, but will (mostly) return when called. The old man (DJ) will just stand there. But the old lady (Dylan) will escape and run as if there's no tomorrow, looking over her shoulder and laughing at us all the way.
And WE are old and crippled, and incapable or running!
Therefore, we run a tight ship! :-P

  3. You know, I'm pretty sure John Ringo and Larry Correia just published a book about werewolves loose in New Orleans complete with car chases the wrong way on one way streets. Coincidence? I think not.

  4. I'm surprised anyone has a weight problem since there are so many folks walking in parades all the time.

  8. How often do you have parades? It seems to be all you have posted about recently, or is this 'parade season' for you?
