Seriously?

Cast iron skillet. Large size. Not small, not light. Taken by usual suspect(s) from top of stove (far back burners) and carted through house to dog bed by the windows, 50 feet easily.

I quit wondering WHY they do this stuff a while ago. Now I just wonder HOW.

    1. Of course not. They're all happy there because I just took them out to the French Quarter for breakfast.

  6. Lady Dog is obviously getting ready to use the 'field attitude adjustment tool Mk1 Mod 2.' on the Male Dog.

  8. I'm thinking, in order to answer "How", you need a couple of cameras placed around the home.

  11. As to how? Well, if Murphy is as big and strong as Max, my male Shepherd, then he's able to tote things even heavier than that skillet.

As to the why? There are several possibilities. The most likely is that though it might have been cleaned thoroughly, he can still smell vestiges of the last meal cooked in that skillet. Or, he could have just been bored and it was something he wanted to play with. Dogs are like that.

The thing is, even though they can be a major PITA, you know you love them because no matter what, they love YOU. People are like that.

  12. Look for the one with broken teeth. Those cast iron pans are heavy!

  13. Time for a hanging rack? Even if he can reach it, trying to lick it will be a study in frustration for him. Might keep him out of trouble, if he spends enough time trying!
