Maryland to become a Free state?

Looks like a federal judge has just struck down the Maryland law which allows the public servants of that state to deny concealed weapons permits to any and all taxpaying citizens other than those with political connections (read: "those who have bought or rent at least one public servant via campaign contributions or other form of baksheesh.)

Stand by for anguished wails from ignorant useful idiots and professional political agitators who will begin claiming that more legal guns in the hands of trained, vetted citizens will lead to "blood in the streets", despite the proven fact that it hasn't in every other state that has already recognized the right of the law-abiding free man or woman to assume personal responsibility for their own safety.

Expect appeal to be filed in

Meantime, good for the decent people of Maryland!

Hopefully this freedom will spread to more states

  2. Oh no, the sky will fall - Maryland will become the Old West!

Yep, that's what the useless idiots have said in every state that has considered 'shall issue' permits.

Funny, I haven't seen any state turn into the Old West after passing CHL laws.

  3. DIng...ding... they are appealing as of today... sigh

  4. I haven't read the appeal, but the language used by the judge is gonna pretty hard to strike down without saying that the 2nd Amendment isn't a right.
