I understand market forces and elasticity of demand and supply and demand. They have every right to sell their product for what the market will pay. That being said, you are absolutely correct, I WAS a longtime cheaper than dirt shopper, not anymore. We in the shooting community do watch out for each other and those that went for the quick buck will find their business suffering in the long run.
CTD's HQ/showroom store is just a couple miles from my office - I used to occasionally go over there on lunch, back when they had good prices on stuff, but for at least the last four years or so, there've been other places that I thought featured better deals.
Cheaper Than Dirt is dead to me. When they caved to political pressures and stopped all firearms sales, and then I saw a 30-rd AR mag, used with scuff-marks and a green follower listed for $124.98, I was done with them.

ReplyDeleteUh, yeah. I got that one too. 60 bucks for a M1 Carbine Mag! Kiss my ass Cheaper than Dirt. I will never buy anything from them again.
ReplyDeleteThis is just like the SCAR mags price run up... sigh
ReplyDeleteI unsubscribed from the CTD emails a couple weeks ago. They can take a hike to hell as far as I'm concerned.
ReplyDeleteWell someone either bought them all, or they pulled product, cuz
ReplyDelete"We're sorry, but this product is no longer available."
