When I hit the lottery

I'll be getting one of these to go along with my Cessna.

  2. The business next door (Westpac Restorations) has a beautiful Corsair. I love it when they fire her up, the heavy smell of oil and a deep bass note from each cylinder firing. There is nothing quite like that giant radial coming to life. A spiffy Mustang pulled in yesterday too. I'll have to have the camera ready next time.

  5. Although I know there were better performing craft in WWII, that distinctive wing shape is very cool looking.

  7. I love this bird. This and the P-51 are soooo good looking. Just read about the F4U and found out that the -1A model had a top speed of 417mph, and a range of 1,015 miles. Service ceiling was 36,900ft. Ted Williams was a Corsair flight instructor for the Marines during WWII.
