At the convention...

As promised, some pics.

Walking in the door, what's the first beautiful thing we see?
That's right--A vintage VW Bus with a mini-gun.
And just about every gun-related company was there.
All under one roof, we has Israelis
We had Germans
We had Belgians
And we had Americans.
It was like a United Nations of Freedom, right there in Indianapolis.
Everything from Old West six-guns
to historic military arms
to new products and concepts.
Look at that--an AR-15 12 gauge shotgun that also adapts to a .308 upper. Now THAT is modular with a vengeance.
And celebrities were in abundance. We saw or met Rob Pincus, Kyle Lamb, Dave Grossman, R. Lee Ermey (I was gonna have him sign my leg but the autograph line was too long), Wiley Clap, and a true old friend, Mas Ayoob.

And when not looking at self-defense tools, Aaron and I sat in on seminars offered by Pincus, Lamb and Grossman as well as a fantastic medical class put on by blogger of some renown, Ambulance Driver.
And of course there was a social event Saturday night with much beer and food and when not talking to some of America's coolest bloggers, I asked a waitress to marry me (she actually thought about it for a minute before she said no) and I even managed to accidentally insult a hobbit as I stood between two big TVs, dividing my attention between Batman, The Dark Knight on one and Despicable Me on the other, neither of which I'd ever seen before. Yeah, it was one of those kind of nights...and that was before Old NFO's after-party that the hotel staff eventually shut down.

More post later...gotta feed the dogs.

    1. Likewise, meeting you and Mr. B was one of the big treats. We definitely have to get together and pay "follow the leader" around some other city sometime. ;-)

  4. Oh how cool. It's like the gun show of all gun shows. And that VW bus is awesome!
Hmmm...TN is not very far from me. I think we will have to make that a go to event for 2015.
