A mid-January night's ponder

After which date in January does it become socially acceptable to take pot-shots at your neighbor's five-foot tall illuminated Santa Claus statue?

Your thoughts?

  2. If the neighbor is Hispanic, starting Jan 7th. Jan 6th is Dia the Reyes, in some countries is when they get the gifts. Allegedlly when the Three Wise men showed up with the stuff.

  3. Epiphany. As in maybe then they'll have an epiphany as to the fact that it's time to take Christmas decorations down. Unless you're a Chinese restaurant.

  6. I believe here it is 14 days after Christmas for air rifles, and any time after Jan 15th for rimfire....backstop permitting.

We don't have a shotgun or muzzleloader season. but bows and crossbows are good anytime after 1/1.

    Check you local laws

  7. Maybe buying several five foot tall Santas during the post Christmas sales and then setting up dioramas in the same way that Calvin used snowmen in the Calvin and Hobbs comic strip. Might have some influence on the neighbor.
