Poor Murphy...

He's really stressing over the packing and the movers and the home repair work going on here. He knows something is up and he doesn't like it one bit. Anxious, overly-aggressive, accidents in the house...and this morning he snapped at me when I tried to put him in a bedroom as the movers arrived. He's never snapped at me before. Poor guy--he's really bugged.

He's zoning on doggie Tramadol now, but still. He knows that his world is getting jacked up.

Belle's taking it just fine, but Murph...

Sorry, buddy.

  1. I wish I could say something that helps. But I can't.

Poor Murph! I'm on the dog's side. It'll be okay in a week or so, but right now.... **sigh**

  3. I was wondering how the pups were going to handle the move. Poor Murph.

  4. You'll find beer works as well as Tramadol, if he will drink it. 1/2 ox per 10 lbs.

  5. Hate it for him. He's wondering if he's getting left behind.

    1. Probably. He's been ditched enough times before. But he's family now, and as annoying as he might get, he's mine for the rest of his days.

  6. Oh. Poor Murphy. They will settle down once you get moved in and they see you relax. They are no dummies. +1 Old NFO

  7. Poor Murphy.
Reminded me of a childhood neighbor's father, who upon an unfortunate encounter with a small dog, exclaimed, "What's the matter with you? Don't you understand English?!"
We both seem to have very intelligent animals, but so much is outside or foreign to their experience.
    Nice you understand that.
Extra comfort and treats are a good idea. (for the dogs, too!) :-)
