Awww, widdle swamp rabbits... Nutria have much more meat on them. (But I have eaten rabbit, which are tasty and go well with just about everything, and don't know what nutria taste like.)
I remember with fondness when my two oldest GSDs, would hunt rabbit....they used to both chase together, tailing the rabbit without much success. Then one day, the female, decided on her own to go out to the side and come in from a distance while the male chased tail towards her, resulting in a very effective pincer strategy and fresh rabbit dinner for them that night.
Be vewy, vewy quiet...
ReplyDeleteApparently I have city dogs. They know that cats are to be chased and killed, but not sure what to do about rabbits, especially docile ones.

ReplyDeleteHeh, Yep if you released the hounds, so to speak, you'd STILL be trying to get Murphy to come back!
