And this is why I'm through supporting President Bush

The President recently told a group of hispanics at the White House that he's opposed to deporting illegal aliens from our country. source.

OK, that's fine. He just traded their possible support for mine, and I've been backing him almost unconditionally since his first day in office. But this issue is critical--crucial to the survival of this country, in my opinion--and if he's going to side with the invaders and trespassers against the rest of us, well he can do it without me from now on.

I really should have broken with him sooner. I should have renounced him when it became clear that his Justice Department's policy was going to be one where decent cops would suffer for any actions that they take against illegal aliens. Bush stood back while his US Attorney Johnny Sutton persecuted two Border Patrol agents for shooting a drug smuggler who was resisting arrest while trying to bring 750 pounds of drugs into our country. The smuggler got immunity and access to medical treatment in the US and turned around and got caught again bringing another truckload of drugs into our country even while our agents were on trial. And Sutton made this arrest go away and kept it from the courtroom to preserve his jihad against our officers. Largely due to this fraud, Sutton got his desired convictions and two good men went to prison for protecting America's border and trying to keep drugs out of our country.

Then Sutton went after a local Sheriff's Deputy. This case involved Edwards County, Texas Deputy Sheriff Guillermo F. Hernandez. He had stopped an SUV loaded with illegal aliens who had just crossed into our country, and the driver sped off, striking the deputy with the SUV. The deputy attempted to shoot out the vehicle tires and a bullet fragment hit one of the illegal aliens in the lip, not even seriously injuring her. That Deputy, rather than getting the support of this administration, just got a year in federal prison AND was ordered to PAY THE ILLEGAL $5,347 dollars. WTF? An illegal alien gets paid for an injury that she sustained while breaking our laws, invading our country, and resisting apprehension by our law enforcement? And she and the others are believed to still be in our country too. Sutton reportedly arranged for them to stay here after the trial as a reward for helping make his case instead of deporting them back to Mexico.

And President Bush has allowed this. Worse, he has refused to pardon the officers or tell Sutton to back off. He's sided with the illegal aliens over law-abiding US citizens and my law enforcement brothers And now he's telling the world that he won't support deportation of the illegals that are here taking jobs from Americans and driving up costs in our schools, hospitals, welfare offices and correctional facilities.

So I'm done supporting the man. I hate to do it, especially with the war still ongoing, but it doesn't help us to win the war overseas only to lose our country in the meantime. Hopefully the GOP runs someone strong on illegal immigration next year--someone like Duncan Hunter. Otherwise I'm not going to waste my time going to the polls on election day. Yes the Democrats will screw us and wreck this country every chance they get, but the GOP's current stance on illegals will accomplish the same thing and frankly I'd rather get hosed by a known enemy than someone that claimed to stand up for what I believe.

I completely agree with you. I used to be a supporter but thats just because I thought he had his priorities straight. I'd rather loose the war in Iraq than open our southern border for millions of illegal, undocumented people who bring crime, diseases, violent gangs, narcotics and worst of all, a bitter HATE for our flag and country. (Not to say some don’t come here illegally to 'honestly' make a living, some do and I've meet them) But this is treason, Bush has totally lost my support. Actually not all of it, I support his impeachment and even imprisonment for turning his back on his oath of office, and his country. I pray justice is done and we get to see Johnny Sutton and Debra Kanof pay a HEAVY personal price for their absolute corruption.
