It looks like Tina Richards is on a mission--gaining attention for her anti-war views around the Capitol by acting badly and getting tossed out or arrested. We saw her harassing Democratic Rep. David Obey, D-Wisconsin last month, and yesterday she got herself arrested outside the office of Democrat Nancy Pelosi for chanting anti-war statements with several of her fellow nutcases from the loon group Code Pink. (Pelosi's not exactly a supporter of the First Amendment unless it entails someone harassing the President. When they harass her she calls the cops ASAP.) The thing is, Richards is seriously encroaching on the turf of long time professional screecher Cindy "It's all about me" Sheehan and there's no way that Sheehan's going to let this upstart newcomer snatch her crown away and take over the title of Queen of the Nutters and 1st Attention Whore.
If Richards keeps this up, I predict retaliation of some sort from Cindy. Will it result in rocks thrown through windows in the middle of the night? Dead cats on the porch? Or will it break out into a catfight in Lafayette Park? Whatever form the battle takes, it's definitely coming, because Cindy's got way too much invested in her role as spokesnut for the anti-war crowd and there's no way that someone that psychotic and unstable is going to step back and let Richards keep edging her out of the limelight.
