Proposed Senate Amnesty Bill--not just "no", but "Hell no!"

First of all, one would think that after putting up with more than four decades of his socialistic, self-serving and 100% partisan antics in the Senate, Most real Americans would instinctively understand that any legislation authored by Ted Kennedy is going to be nothing but bad news for this country or at least everyone not a raving left-wing Democrat. After all, this is the guy who offered us the 1986 illegal alien amnesty bill that gave citizenship to millions of illegals in return for promised border security and then failed to secure the border. As a result, we're now flooded with millions more illegals--possibly as many as twenty million of them--and many of them are here in expectation of another amnesty bill which Kennedy and his new best friends John McCain and President George Bush all apparently intend to force down our throats whether or not any of us want such a bill passed. And let me be clear--outside of the Capitol and the White House, few people appear to want this bill. Real Americans know that it'll simply change the demographics of America by creating millions of new "citizens" from the hordes of Mexicans and other latino border invaders who really don't want to be Americans as much as they want to enjoy our generous welfare system and send money back to their real homes. This bill would give those people all a right to demand money from our already-burdened Social Security system and let them vote, in effect creating yet another politically-powerful bloc for the legislators to pander to. It would reward every single one of the criminals who said "screw America's laws!" and snuck into our country, including those who fraudulently obtained work by stealing the identity of an actual American. Let me be perfectly clear--these are not the people that I want the legislature to artificially elevate to my level and that of every other legitimate law-abiding citizen. But unfortunately many in the Republican Party just see cheap labor for their business supporters and the Democrats are salivating over the thought of tens of millions of new poor uneducated voters who will support the class-warfare-based agenda of the Dems, which consists of taking from the middle and upper classes and giving to the least productive because the Dems know that the gratitude from the recipients of their wealth redistribution scheme will outweigh the anger of those who they take the money from. A government that robs Peter to pay Paul will always have the support of Paul and the Dems have been banking on that for decades.

On the alien side however, the illegals are already complaining that the cost is too high and the requirements are too burdensome, and they're telling reporters that many of them they won't comply anyway. Now aside from the gall of these people to come into our country illegally and then criticize us and make demands, what congress doesn't realize is that they don't want to be Americans. They just want to make money to send home and/or collect welfare. This legislation allows them to keep doing that and it even paves the way for more welfare programs for them. And it does nothing to stop continued illegal immigration because illegals coming over after Jan 1, 2007 will just produce more fraudulent documents to "prove" that they were here before that date. This whole thing is one big expensive unworkable mess that will do nothing but create a larger government and give us even more illegal aliens.

As mad as I am at the Democrats for supporting this, I expect it from them because they always support anything that benefits them at the expense of the rest of us. But when I see Republicans including the President pushing it, I completely lose any respect for or faith in them. I expect more from them because they are supposed to be better than that, and here they are letting me and every other real American down. One thing is definitely for sure: I will never, ever support any politician who signs onto this travesty bill, including and especially President Bush. He's enjoyed my support unfailingly until a few months ago when he started getting all illegal-friendly, and he's lost it forever just because of this. Fred Thompson was interviewed on the Mark Levin show the other day and he said that he feared that the President was going to lose supporters over this that he needs for other things like the war. Well I'm here to tell you that he's right, and I'm one of those people. Mr. President, the first term and re-election effort went well, but the honeymoon's over and due to your support for illegals over me and the rest of us, I'm filing for divorce. Don't ask me for anything from now on. Good luck with things, including that war.
