This just in.
And with that, folks, I'm out too.
I won't be party to a McCain presidency. He's always screwed us conservatives. I'd rather have Hillary or Obama screwing me because at least they don't pretend to be my friend while doing it. They've always been up front about opposing everything that I and most decent Americans stand for, and they've never shied away from slandering good old American values or denigrating our troops and the job they've done overseas. In short, we know what they're about and it's understood that they're rotten to their socialist cores. But McCain? Just as bad, only he won't own up to it. He comes around talking unity and support for the party, but of course he means support for it when it's going HIS way. He's done his best to undermine the conservative cause for years and he can't unring that bell no matter how hard he tries.
And with those three on my "outs" list, that only leaves Mike Huckabee. Frankly, since I think that he only stayed in the race to undermine Romney and secretly aid McCain, I'll not lift a finger or donate a penny to help him either.
So there's no candidate that I'm willing to support in this coming Presidential election. The only question now is do I just stay home on election night or do I go out and vote for the Dem just to try to show the GOP what happens when they totally disregard and disrespect us true Reagan conservatives? Maybe this country needs four more years with a Dem president to remind us all just how wrong for America that party is. Jimmy Carter anyone? Lyndon B. Johnson? Aw hell...even they had more talent and experience than Hillary has. She's just an impeached ex-president's wife-of-convenience. Electing her to be president just based on that would send a message to the whole world that America is definitely falling under the collective control of the apathetic and the ignorant.
