Two potential terrorists nabbed by Border Patrol in Mississippi

And this is why some of us want the borders secured.

If you've been following the Border Patrol's efforts to secure our borders and safeguard Americans, you might be aware that over the past two weeks they ran an operation called "Operation Uniforce". Operation Uniforce was conducted by a special Border Patrol task force targeting Interstate I-20 because federal agents believe it is a new corridor for smugglers to ferry illegal aliens to the East Coast. According to the Border Patrol, greater scrutiny of the I-10 corridor prompted smugglers to move further inland to I-20 — which is 800 miles from the Mexican border and smack in the middle of America's heartland.

Thus far, Operation Uniforce has lead to the apprehension of over 400 illegal aliens , a murder suspect from El Salvador, one kilogram of cocaine worth almost $80,000 and $7,052 U.S. currency was seized. But perhaps most alarmingly, while most of the illegal immigrants nabbed came from Mexico, two individuals from “special interest” countries — one Egyptian and the other a Palestinian from the West Bank — were also apprehended.

And that's why we need to secure our borders and control who comes in. Those who push the pro-illegal agenda like to pretend that Americans who want secure borders are racist or hate hispanics, but the truth is that we're trying to prevent ANYONE from coming in illegally without regard for their race or country of origin, and while we enthusiastically welcome legitimate law-abiding, productive immigrants from every country on the planet, we want to bar ANYONE from sneaking in under the radar without being medically screened and subjected to a background check and that includes gang members, previously deported criminals, carriers of infectious diseases and people with terrorist connections or sympathies who are coming here to kill some of us.

Kudos to ICE and state and local law enforcement officers who participated in this operation.
