Wow...Karma can be such a bitch sometimes!

Bride left blushing after wedding day arrest

A Scottsbluff bride found herself in handcuffs as well as a wedding ring on Tuesday. Shortly after her 2 p.m. ceremony was to start, Dianne J. Carnes, 31, was in the custody of Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's deputies.
Carnes had appeared Monday in Scotts Bluff County Court for a trial stemming from a 2007 charge of felony driving under suspension. A jury found Carnes guilty of the charge, which stemmed from a traffic stop while her license had been revoked on a charge of driving under the influence, according to court records. Scotts Bluff County Deputy Attorney Jeff Hill said that a juror reported that Carnes had threatened her after the trial. According to unconfirmed reports, Carnes and the juror came into contact because they live in the same neighborhood.
Hill said Carnes' bond was revoked, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Scotts Bluff County Clerk Magistrate Diane Lana, who does marriages at the courthouse, said Carnes' had called earlier in the day and scheduled the wedding ceremony for her and her groom. She was taken into custody while her wedding party stood by in a Scotts Bluff County courtroom.

So she's got a record that includes DUI and driving while suspended FELONY in addition to this new case. Sounds like some "Joe Dirt" Nebraskan picked himself a real peach there. Good luck with that marriage...
