Andrew Mizak--nominee for Loser of the Year, 2009

File this one under "You've got to be kidding..."

An Ohio man actually called the police because his obese 28 year old son--who still lives in the man's basement--refused to clean his room and threw a plate of food at him.

And if that isn't weird enough, the overgrown man-child, Andrew Mizsak, is a member of the local school board and insists that he's prominent in local Democratic Party politics.

It's odd enough that a Bedford father would actually call police after arguing with his son about cleaning his room.
Stranger still, the sloppy son is 28 years old and serves on the Bedford School Board.
"I know this looks bad," said School Board member Andrew Mizsak, who lives with his parents and also works as an independent political consultant. His mother, Paula, is a Bedford councilwoman.

Mizsak's dad, also Andrew, called 9-1-1 on Thursday after his son threw a plate of food across the kitchen table and balled his fist up at his dad when told to clean his room.
The senior Mizsak, 63, wouldn't press charges and told police, "I don't want to ruin his political career." According to the report, he said: "Andrew is 270 pounds and he can't fight him, that they do everything for Andrew and he doesn't even pay rent."

The elder Mizsak said Saturday, "I overreacted. No big deal."

According the report, "Andrew was sent to his room to clean it. He was crying uncontrollably and stated he would comply."

Mizsak said he was embarrassed to take police away from more important work.

"My dad and I love each other very much," he said, promising to keep his basement room clean. "I'm lucky to be living in their house."

So what we have here is a fat, over-indulged loser who has become, thanks to his parents’ enabling and refusal to push him out the door into the grown people’s world, a 28 year old spoiled brat. He even cries when the police tell him to go clean his room. I’ve known six-year olds more mature than this putz.

Anyone wanna place a bet on whether or not he’s still single?

And I can’t help but notice the fact that the stories all seem to avoid mentioning his political affiliation. So with that in mind, I did a bit of Google investigating.

Sure enough, he’s a Democrat.

I was pretty confident that he would be, because if he’d been a Republican, it would have been in the headlines. But I figured that he might also have been a Libertarian, what with him living in his parents’ basement and apparently not having a real full-time job and all.

(School board jobs are part time and usually don’t pay a lot of money if they pay at all, and “political consultant” is like “artist” or “actor”. Yeah, it’s possible to make a living doing just that, but most people who so label themselves actually spend a lot more time waiting tables or flipping burgers.)

Here's an article that he recently wrote for the Bedford, Ohio School Board website. In that article (besides gushing over Obama), he writes:
I must tell you that I am not just a Democrat, I am the Democratic Leader of the City of Bedford and Village of Walton Hills, Ohio,...
All I can draw from this is that the other Democrats there must be some serious goobers if this lame-o can rise to the top of their heap.

So Dad—who seems to lack any idea of what it means to be a man (undoubtedly a Democrat as well)—has to call the police because his fat (270 lbs) slob of an underachiever son won’t clean his room. Then dad apologizes, clearly not because he wasted the time of the police officers, but really because he doesn’t want to harm his fat sissy of a son's obviously promising chance for a career in politics. The nut sure didn’t fall far from the tree in this goofy family.

But it sure does say something for the voters in Bedford, Ohio that this whole family has been elected to some political office or another. And while it’s true that we usually get the government that we deserve, if I lived in Bedford, I’d be pissed if my slack-jawed, idiotic neighbors continually imposed losers like that on me come election day.

  2. I am constantly amazed at the amount of enabling parents churning out these pathetic excuses for children.

What's going to happen when these parents are no longer around to bail their kid's sorry butts out of these "troublesome" situations that they can't seem to handle? I suppose next they will come crying to the government to pass a "It's a violation of my civil rights to have to clean" amendment and some bleeding hearts will be right there to back him.

Cleaning his OWN room while living on his parent's dime is too much of a chore? Good grief, where on earth has self pride gone these days?

These are the type of people that need to be dropped off in the rugged wilderness and forced to survive by the sweat of their own brow. If they make it, great, if not, oh well, one less loser we'll have to support some day.

I am perplexed as to how you make the connection from loser to Democrat? I believe that anyone who votes Republican, and works everyday is a loser. Reality is any and all legislation put forth by Republicans benefits only the top 5% of wage earners. I know people with no education and no skills that are die hard Republicans. Republicans do not care about them!! It is all a smoke screen to put themselves in power so they can relax government regulations on their corporations and rape government coffers. Corporate welfare and no-bid contracts! Get it?? Republicans take divisive issues like Abortion, Gay Marriage, and Affirmative Action etc... to get people to vote Republican (divide and conquer). Fact is, Republicans do not care about these issues nor do they care about working class people or any other people who are not Millionaires! Do your research!! After you get a clue, stop being an Evangelist for people who care nothing about you!

  4. Well first off, this isn’t about Republicans or what you think of them. It’s about a totally dependent little boy who apparently grew into a totally dependent and overweight male adult and found his niche in the Democratic party—a party built around pandering to those with no skills, abilities or ambition by taking money and opportunities from others who actually earned and deserve them. No one ever taught this sad, pathetic boy to stand on his own two feet and make his way through life on his own abilities so he still feels entitled to rewards that he didn’t work for. That, in a nutshell, is how your beloved Democratic Party works. It takes from the achievers by force or threat of force (Try not paying your taxes and see what happens.) then doles out most of what it takes to sorry slobs and angry underachievers and second-handers, convincing those people that their only hope of making it in life is to remain attached to the Democratic party like ticks on an egg-sucking hound dog. And of course they also teach those losers to hate and demonize the Republican Party, just as you have done, and give them a bunch of talking points such as you have posted here.

    You must be a Democrat.

Now that said, what’s so wrong with giving benefits to the top 5% of the wage-earners? They are, after all, the ones paying over 90% of the federal taxes. Why shouldn’t they get to keep a little bit more of what they actually earned? Do you have a reason for that mean-spirited desire to impoverish our most successful people, other than basic envy?

  5. Your absolutely correct, in your post and your comment.. He's a loser, a Democrat, immature, spoiled, lazy, pathetic and very probably not-tightly-wrapped.
As for anonymous' comment, those who spout such drivel often do so from behind their mother's skirts....

  6. Actually, I was going to ask Which one's the loser? Sounds like the parents!!

Of course, now I simply have to add that the entire "Republicans = Good, Democrats = Bad" and the mirror "Dems=good,Repubs=bad" is just part of the way the government keeps us distracted with party bickering so they can go ahead and continue screwing us.

Both parties have done terrible things with our money and yet we continue to try to make it a "party" issue. Have you noticed how many of the same people (read CONGRESS) are still there? Still screwing us?

    Sigh. I hate Congress. :(

  7. "I am perplexed as to how you make the connection from loser to Democrat?" -- Anyone who believes it's the government's job to take care of those who are too stupid/lazy/unwilling to do so themselves and votes like that is a loser hoping for a piece of the pie they haven't earned at the expense of those who are better and more capable. How do you think Obama got elected?

"I believe that anyone who votes Republican, and works everyday is a loser." -- Your rejection of reality doesn't negate its existence.

"Reality is any and all legislation put forth by Republicans benefits only the top 5% of wage earners." -- Besides that being a complete and utter fallacy that I could only WISH was true, did you ever think that maybe it would be because the top 5 percent are the ones who pay the most taxes and without those "top 5 percent" the economy would grind to a halt.

"I know people with no education and no skills that are die hard Republicans." -- Maybe they're hoping that the GOP will revert to their smaller government ideals.. in vain, I might add.

"Republicans do not care about them!!" -- Ummm... since when is it the government's job to "care" about the poor, uneducated and skill-less, but stay the hell out of their way so they can achieve on their own.

"It is all a smoke screen to put themselves in power so they can relax government regulations on their corporations and rape government coffers. Corporate welfare and no-bid contracts! Get it??" -- Would those be similar to those federal contracts Obama has promised specifically to unions in exchange for their support during the election?

"Republicans take divisive issues like Abortion, Gay Marriage, and Affirmative Action etc... to get people to vote Republican (divide and conquer). Fact is, Republicans do not care about these issues nor do they care about working class people or any other people who are not Millionaires! Do your research!! After you get a clue, stop being an Evangelist for people who care nothing about you!" -- It's not the government's job to care about me or anyone else. It's their job to stay the hell out of my way. Maybe you like being ass raped out of your earnings, having your blood, sweat and tears appropriated to pay to keep politicians in power by promising bennies to the "poor" who are enamored with the idea of receiving something they haven't earned at the expense of those who earned it, but I'd rather keep a modicum of personal responsibility that comes with freedom.

So maybe when you stop being an "Evangelist" for a failed Marxist philosophy that has decimated and corrupted every society in which it has been tried, you'll understand what kind of evil you're actually preaching.

Now to be fair to poor fat Andy...he does reportedly have a "significant other" and "she" says the only sign of aging she can see is his forehead furrow deepening. The only question that should remain is the species of his "significant other"...I vote for either "non-existant/imaginary" or some type of domesticated feline!

I am sickened by how so many people are relating this whole thing to which political party somebody belongs to. Its the simple factor of character and morals. There are down sides to each political party. I know of lazy spoiled people that are republicans who just live off of their parents fortunes and like to try to preach about how hard working they themselves are when its obvious they would be no where without the privilages given to them, and I know some very hardworking, successful democrats. vice versa on both examples. this guy is a SELF proclaimed leader in the democratic party, that does not mean all democrats support and like him as I am sure there are some well known leaders in the republican party that much of society now regrets supporting because they turned out not to be the best examples for their particular party. so instead of pointing fingers at anybody who doesnt have your same views why not just remember who this story is really about... A sad embarrasing member of society who needs a good dose of reality and to have parents that actually know how to parent instead of supporting his loser habits.
