Dog mysteries

Why would a dog walk right past his recently-filled food bowl to go onto the pantry and remove a box of dried macaroni from the shelves? And why would that dog take the box of macaroni into MY LIVING ROOM before ripping it open and scattering the macaroni all over the floor?

Could this be a protest over the allergy medicine that I snuck into his food? Might it be part of a plot to lure his nemesis, Mr. Vacuum Cleaner, out of the closet? Or is he just being an ass because I left him for a couple of hours?

Inquiring minds wanna know.

  1. I'd vote for C, all of the above... Try the Cayenne, that'll stop that behavior right quick!

  2. I can almost hear him thinkin' . . . . "Ya know, he's gonna flip when I do this!!!"

    Don't know how to say this gently . . . but . . . I think he's winnin' . . . . :)

  3. Oh the things Murphy does to get attention!

Maybe it's just a dog thing. Chloe will eat raw egg noodles, if I accidentally drop a few on the floor when transferring them from the big bag to the pot on the stove. Did he eat them or just destroy the bag? Maybe he's just bored with his dog food.

  4. The real question is... why did you leave the pantry UNLOCKED?

See it wasn't his fault. It was Bush's!

  7. I'm betting it was choice C.

Barkley had to endure 4 hours in the truck on a drive back from visiting friends for the weekend. There was sighing and whining, not because of the drive, which he is used to, but the fact there was a box of cheese-it's in the bag on the seat and I wasn't giving him any.

  10. He's the best! My suggestion: get him certified as your Partner and he won't have to be left behind to get bored.
