I've had my Twitter account restored as of this writing. I received an e-mail this AM stating: "This account was suspended for sending multiple unsolicited messages using the @reply and/or mention feature."
Wait--what? Isn't that what Twitter is for--sending messages to people? And how is it unsolicited if I'm replying to someone?
Screw it. I'm not using it any more. It seems to be just an on-line graffiti wall and I can do without it.
Oh, and Jenny Granholm, you're still a failure as a governor.
I think you should really give it a fair chance before dismissing it as not worth your attention. What probably happened yesterday is that one of the people you were replying to reported you for "abuse," which is a common tactic by leftists to shut down people that irritate them on Twitter.
ReplyDeleteJust keep it open in a separate tab on your browser when you're doing your usual browsing, and check it when you see a number of updates ready to read.
Follow only people whose opinions you value anyway; you'll see their re-tweets (things they wish to pass on from others) and be able to decide who else to follow from that.
For a few to start off with, I'd suggest Iowahawk, Jim Treacher of the Daily Caller, Robert Stacy McCain, and Nick Nolte of Breitbart. Those guys all Tweet incessantly throughout the day and are entertaining as hell, especially Iowahawk. It's also a sort of Twitter rule that you have to follow actress Alyssa Milano. Don't know why, it just is. I personally enjoy reading musician Charlie Daniels' tweets.
And as of this writing (8:05 Eastern) Twitter still shows you as suspended.
ReplyDeleteLOL, yep you were a BAD boy... :-)
ReplyDeleteWow - who woulda thought you tweeting . . . Good luck with that, I would take Bob's advice and dang those leftist anyway for trying to shut you down (had to be those lefties)
ReplyDeleteI don't tweet, and I nuked my Facebook account last year.
ReplyDeleteI have way too many other things to waste time on!
I have a Twitter account but really don't use it. I don't think many people are interested in my pedestrian activities.
