Quote of the Day, Crazy Cat Neighbor Edition.

Saw my crazy cat neighbor, female version, out behind the Lair today. She was looking for one of the feral kittens to take it in due to the snow we're getting. As usual, she started complaining about another neighbor's two dogs that have been raiding her yard and cutting down the feral cat population.

"Those two dogs are really dangerous," she exclaimed. "One of them actually growled and bared it's teeth at me last week when I was trying to hit it on the head with a baseball bat!"

Gee, do ya think?

Travel writer Paul Theroux noticed a similar phenomenon while in Gibraltar, which has a famous population of Barbary Apes. Tourists tease the apes and poke them with sticks, then complain when the apes bite them.

You could almost write a book on the escapades of the crazy cat people next door. The bad thing is that their vote counts as much as yours does....kinda depressing.

Heh heh. Maybe she was practicing her diplomacy? Heck, she'll end up in the State Department with a resume like that!
