I was driving into town and saw this one after the last ice storm we got. Just a bit of snow and ice and this guy slid off of his own driveway and trashed his SUV on a tree.
Seriously? In his own driveway? And the guy only has ONE TREE anywhere near his driveway and he hits it square on.
How do you even do that? There had to be a woman involved somewhere.
You know of course that the woman remark will draw some comments. Good thing Murphy is on Guard duty.
ReplyDeleteIt certainty looks like it took some talent to arrange that intersection of tree and automobile.
ReplyDeleteUm...er... NO comment... LOL
ReplyDeleteQ: Why do so many men die before their wives?
ReplyDeleteA: Because they want to.
I suspect this guy just seized an opportunity. Either that or a teenager took the car.
Bad place to plant a tree....on the outside of a downhill curve.
ReplyDeleteThe driver was dodging a feral cat.
ReplyDeleteThe questions is, will it still be there in July?
ReplyDeleteIt's that old habit of fixating on the object you're trying to avoid - and so, of course, driving right into it. But your theory is good, too. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy are you blaming a woman for the effects of excessive acceleration, gravity, and inertia? Do you know the woman who planted that tree in just the wrong spot?
ReplyDeleteRead somewhere lately a "tru dat" comment.
ReplyDeleteYOU may know how to drive on ice, but the ICE doesn't know you know.
Maybe the car too much ethanol in the gas tank.
ReplyDeleteI notice there are no tire tracks where the traction would be better.
ReplyDelete.....But some people have some fixation for their lawns.
