Monday I had to go in for a bit of surgery. Yesterday and today, I'm feeling it big time where they sutured it back up. It's no fun having your abdomen cut into--it's not.
So posting's going to be a bit slow, because I don't feel much like sitting at my desk to type a whole lot. It sucks getting old.
In other semi-related news, my airplane was finally disassembled and moved into a repair shop this past week-end and they've started doing "surgery" on it, too. I hope it's feeling better today than I am.
Dogs and I are going to be napping, reading and binge-watching Sons of Anarchy for the rest of the week, I'm thinking. But I'll try to get back here when I can.
Hope you feel better soon
ReplyDeleteTake your time. I know all about that abdomen cutting thing. We'll be here when you get back.
ReplyDelete(Where did you say the key to the liquor cabinet was?)
Don't sneeze. Sneezing is bad.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a speedy recuperation (both you and the Skybird)!
ReplyDeleteI won't tell you jokes then.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon, we're all pulling for ya.
ReplyDeleteAin't much of a thing. After losing a leg, everything else is relative.
DeleteFunny, I don't remember the leg hurting like this though.
Feel better soon, friend. We'll wait.
ReplyDeleteTHis'll give ya something to dream about while you heal...

One of my favorite dealers. Come the day when I hit the lottery of some rich relative that I didn't know I had dies and leaves me millions...
DeleteGlad things worked out. BTDT, and yeah, stay down...
ReplyDeleteGlad you and the bird are on the mend... Sometimes things just need a re-fit...
ReplyDeleteGet better soon.
ReplyDelete+1 on everybody else.
ReplyDeleteGet better soon.....
Had hernia surgery a couple years back. I can relate. Get well soon, but don't push too hard (literally or figuratively) to get up and around.
ReplyDeleteHaving someone cutting on your belly is never a good thing insofar as the pain thing goes. You just can't stay still enough not to twist or pull something and make things hurt all over again. I hope you have a speedy recovery. I also hope your 172 repair job is within cost estimates and finished in time for spring flying. The 172 might be a bit slow compared to some other planes but its much faster then the LSA stuff I've piddled around with.
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing? How can we pray specifically? Love & Christmas Blessings to you. Hug on Murphy & Belle if it doesn't hurt too much.
