Just walking along...then this happened.

Some random fashion designer, model and photographer in tow, came up and asked if they could use Murphy and Belle in their photo shoot.

As you can guess, I said "uh...sure."

And they were so well-behaved.

Not sure what publication that they're going to be in, but they look great, don't they?

I was so proud of them that I didn't even notice that she wasn't wearing anything under that "dress" except a silver thong. (!!!)

And no, I did not manage to get her number. It didn't even dawn on me to ask until she was gone.

Yeah, I'm like that some days...especially on days that end in "y".

  1. When I saw the first photo, I asked myself, "Did he get her number?"

I had to scroll down to find the answer...days ending in Y. ;^)

  2. I know, beautiful fashion models coming up to you is so common you just forgot :-) Sounds like a fun day even if she got away.

  3. meh.....I wouldn't have asked. She doesn't look anything at all like my type.

Did you sign a doggie model release? Did they at least offer to buy a bag of food?

  6. The model (waif?), to me not so interesting. But the photographer maybe would've been worth a phone number.

  11. Hmmm, maybe with your new location, you might consider getting some business cards to hand to these people. Some modest modeling fees for return engagements might offset the expected future ear treatments for Murphy. First modeling assignments could be kept free as a means of generating further activity, as long as they are short encounters.
Perhaps doing some research on the animal modeling world would be in order.

IDIOT! You had TWO of them (I presume the photographer was a chick to.) Oh well. Did you sign a release? That is for the photos? Hope it has their name on it if you got one.

  13. if you consider letting them be used in more things like this, there are agencies that will get your dogs spots in things. a friend of mine has two dobes that have been used in TV and in a movie (and i believe they're filming another right now). i can ask her what agency she uses, if you like.

  14. Don't worry about the model. You can find homely, anorexic girls anywhere. I think the photographer looked better.
However, the dynamic canine duo outshined everything.

  15. AND a closer shot sans dogs would have been nice!

  16. Thank-you for being a gentleman and not asking.

God Lord, Murphy looks like he outweighs the model! Get that girl something to eat!

    The pups looked good.

  17. Too bad you did not think to ask about more modeling opportunities for your pooches, that could have brought in some bucks to buy dog food and ammo.

  18. Belle is quite the model herself. Prima Donna for sure!
