I hate them.

On arrival home from work today.

It wasn't up a week.

  1. Had the same problem with cats. With new house got vertical blinds at Home Depot in Gulfport. That was over four yeas ago so don't know if they still have them.

    1. Vertical blinds here too for the cat. They work.

  2. Either vertical blinds or hamsters!

  3. Yup - Barkley destroyed every single one in the crash pad. I didn't get my deposit back.

  4. Maybe they are being provoked by one of your crazy neighbors from outside the window or maybe a cat is teasing Murphy...

(My previous post had a typo so I deleted it.)

  5. Well, obviously you need the OILFIELD VERSION. They're hell for stout.

  6. There's a reason I only have curtains and not blinds on all of my windows now......

  7. After they've destroyed two sets of mini-blinds, your dogs are probably wondering if maybe you're a little slow on the uptake, perhaps?

    :D

  8. 3" Wood blinds as an alternative?

  9. Yep, verticals... They will tear them up too, but it will take longer... sigh

  10. And that is why the decorative bamboo blinds in my house are always kept rolled up.

  11. Check out Roman Blinds. They wont tear them up, might tear them off but I doubt it.

Maybe leave them open a little ways

  13. Never allow obstruction in your field of fire. Your dogs are obviously too well trained. Rick has the answer. Give them a clear line of sight, even if only 6 inches. Close blinds if you are all out together and when you get home from work. They MAY be looking for bad guys, but they are certainly looking for you, especially around quittin' time!

  14. Take down the ADT sticker. Leave the blinds as they are. No better way to say "There are Guard DOGS here!"
