Ready for Christmas

The lights are up.

And I got a tree.

It was 68 degrees today.

Bring it.

  1. No sense of adventure.

You should really have a full sized tree with all the trimmings, I am sure that the dogs would not bother it in any way.......

    1. Yeah, right. If I left Murphy and Belle alone in the house with two bowling balls, I'd come back to find one broken and the other missing. And of course they'd be acting all clueless/indifferent.

    2. They have trees that you attach to the ceiling... That said, I bought a bunch of theoretically unbreakable ornaments today because Scooter.

  2. Baseless paranoia on your part, those are angels you have there.

BTW we haven't had a tree of any kind since we started our zoo. Coming home one time to find the tree on its side, curtains on the floor because I was smart enough to tie the tree to the window frame and almost all the ornaments scattered/broken/chewed up was enough for me.

Would be nice to see someone else have to go thru that though.

I liked that line about Murph and Belle with the two bowling balls.

  4. I saw a picture yesterday of a Christmas Tree in a dog kennel with the Malionois sitting outside. It made my day.

  8. Hey, did you get that tree out of bubblegum machine?

I wouldn't even put one up except my wife always wants one. The cats and ferrets trash it most rikki tik anyway.

    1. I found it in the attic of my WV house when I moved in. Someone left it behind for some strange reason.
