The mutts, strolling the French Quarter last night.
Window shopping on Royal Street.
Listening to Tanya play her classical violin...every night, Royal and St. Louis streets.
Then it was on to a few of our favorite dog friendly bars, where I got beer and they got water and dog treats from the bartenders who know them by name. Whoever said dogs have it rough never saw how these two live down here.
Where's Dorise? I stumbled upon them on youtube and bought a few CDs.
ReplyDeleteThe others who play with her pop up on different nights. They are goods though, aren't they?
DeleteJust awesome. Their (her?) version of Georgia On My Mind is so good I could skip my blood pressure meds.
DeleteAnd this is why we like your blog..PUPPIES!
ReplyDeleteBut... why no flying? Have you chocked the wheels for good?
DeleteIt would appear that Murphy is focused like a laser (generally) on you...Belle, not so much!
ReplyDeleteDiane
I noticed that, too. Is Belle looking for mischief?
DeleteBoth are camera shy, so any shot of them looking at me is tough...but there were lots of people around us and both had their heads on swivels. I just lucked out with the Murphy shots this time. Usually he's the worst.
DeleteThey (and you) are deserving!
ReplyDeletegfa
Sounds like they are making out better than you are! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey Murphy,
ReplyDeleteLooks like the dogs are doing well in the French quarter, You did notice Murphy stopping t the "Leathers R us" store to window shop....I do like the street musicians, a lot of them ain't that great but they do put emotions into their music. Don't know if the girl with the violin is like that.
Tanya with the violin is so good that people bring chairs to sit and listen.
DeleteSo, you're saying it was Murph's idea to pose in front of the trollop shop?
