Sigh,...

I spent much of my day at work dreaming of the wonderful guacamole I was going to make when I got home today. I made it a dozen times in my mind. It was going to be epic.

Meanwhile, back at the lair, the dogs were eating my avocados.

  2. You need to hide your avocados from now on. We had avocado trees back in Venezuela, tall ones. The dogs would hear an avocado falling and just take off after it. The damned fruit my bounce twice before it was in the jaws of one of my pups.

  3. I had no idea that dogs liked avocados. My grand-dogs are visiting for the Fourth, perhaps guacamole and chips would be in order.

  10. When I was little we lived in a suburb of LA (Whittier) and had a bunch of Guacamole trees behind our house. I watched coyotes eating them all the time. Not surprised that GSDs like them too.

  13. I had a doberman pincer (named Greta) who loved avocados above all other things. They are to dogs what catnip is to cats. Greta also liked guacamole too, but not nearly as much as she loved avocados.
