Complaint over AR-15 pic

So I got a complaint after posting the AR-15 pics the other day.

It was a #metoo complaint.

Seems my Mini-14 felt left out.

What can I say? I apologize to my little Ruger friend and I want to reaffirm my commitment to diversity.

  1. Does this mean that you are going to buy a poodle to run around with Murphy and Belle... ;^)

  3. I still want a mini-14. With wood furniture, of course.

  4. Honestly, I am thinking of replacing my AR with one, to preserve domestic tranquility. In-laws are very anti gun,if they knew we had 'evil Assault Weapons!!!'...it would get ugly. This however is just a normal hunting rifle, perfectly fine according to them. YEah I know, I shouldn't care what they think-but they're my wife's family and live close, and grandmom watches our daughter. Ironically my wife's AR would get a pass from them, because it's got a left handed upper and she's a southpaw. go figure.

    1. That's why I got this one. I can hike with it and not have green weenie eco-freaks lose their minds. Because it's wood and not black plastic so it's much less scary.

    2. unfortunately the only one's I've found of late have had the black plastic stocks. I could always swap it with a wood one I guess.

  5. So did you tell the complainer that Murphy was in charge of the complaint department?

  6. Tell them, No, it clashes with my Hi-power rifles.

  8. My Mini 14 is the elder sister to my Bushy Dissipator. So far they get along fine. The Bushy is more accurate and sexier looking but older sister lighter and handier. She does, however, throw brass far and wide making a brass catcher a necessity at the range.
