Just hours after Baltimore's Mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake(D) announced that she was giving rioters "space to destroy things", newly-elected Governor Larry Hogan(R) has put his foot down and sent 500 State Troopers into that city and called up the National Guard.
Hogan's not messing around. Unlike Rawlings-Blake's strategy of appeasement and capitulation (if not actual collaboration), Hogan is preparing to get medieval on the knuckle-draggers to restore order and safety for everyone else.
As for the police officers injured due to attacks from these Morlocks--15 as of this writing--well Rawlings-Blake needs to look each one in the eye and explain why she let it happen.
Oh--and when this is over, those gangs, along with their facilitators at the Nation of Islam, need to be targeted by the police and hammered on until there isn't one member of any of them left in the city who isn't in jail or the hospital.
Edited to add: Obama just pledged "assistance as needed" in Baltimore. If you're like me, you're probably wondering just which side he plans to assist.
