So now I'm home. The pneumonia flared this morning and I'm back home after a trip straight to the doctor's office. Breathing treatment and a ton of new meds. No work for two days and probably no play, either...probably. Sigh.
You need one of those golf carts that you can decorate and drive down the street. It's the Big Easy - every day is technically a parade. The dogs could sit in the back and bark. It would be easier to park than a car.
Yeesh, you need to dial back the partying 20% and focus on getting better. While copious amounts of alcohol may kill germs, it doesn't seem to prevent pneumonia.
The respiratory thing that is wandering the country this season is truly a tough bug, and many folks have been having relapses after thinking they had it kicked to the curb...take the meds, do the breathing treatments, and get some rest so you stay out of the hospital!! Have had a bunch of patients with this thing so far this winter. Feel better...
The fake news was going crazy with the news that a truck plowed into a mardi gras crowd...except it wasn't fake. Hope you, Murphy and Belle are well. Pneumonia pretty much sucks so get well soon.

ReplyDeleteDo what the Doc tell you to do. Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteYep, listen to the doc, sit your butt down and take the meds.

ReplyDeleteI checked the weather in NOLA just now (9:49pm)and it is showing a 87% humidity. Stay indoors, crack the AC down to 70 to reduce the humidity!

Thanks Lauren...We're all good. And they're driving me nuts because it's been too crazy in the French Quarter to walk them like they're used to.
DeleteI hope you get better soon
