People who need to "Shut the Hell up" #2--Hollywood.

These used to be a time when Hollywood reflected America's values. Patriotism and pride in America were dominant themes once, and Americans loved it. John Wayne was the all-American hero and fighting man who always stood tall for this country. Ronald Reagan made many pro-America movies and went on to head the Screen Actors Guild before he became America's best 20th century president. Jimmy Stewart enlisted in World War Two, and Clark Gable did the same even though he was over the maximum draft age. Charles Bronson, Charlton Heston, George C. Scott, Eddie Albert, Lee Marvin, Charles Durning and many other famous or soon-to-be famous men went to war when this country needed them, and in later decades they continued to play patriotic roles in movies that supported America and our way of life. Off-screen too, they were proud to be Americans and never have any of them ever bad-mouthed this country or it's leadership--not even when Presidents Johnson and Carter were running it into the ground or when President Clinton was embarrassing us all with his childish antics. That was the old-guard Hollywood. They came from the same stock that most of the rest of us did and they never forgot their core values or the things that made this country great and allowed them to rise to stardom.

But now look at Hollywood today. Instead of a group of America-loving patriotic men and women trying to reflect American values in their work, we have a bunch of elitist, out-of-touch, arrogant liberals who believe without question that it is their place to define America's values and reshape this country according to their own ideals. Instead of John Wayne standing tall as a Green Beret and defending our involvement in Vietnam as the honorable but thankless task that it was, we now get a certified mope like George Clooney who portrays American soldiers as losers, thieves or thrill-killers and who makes movies glorifying terrorists who murder Americans and other freedom-loving people. If John Wayne were alive today I could see him kicking Clooney's effeminate ass clear to France.

Then there's Sean Penn. After he got tired of beating on Madonna, Sean Penn went to Iraq several times to hang with Saddam Hussein and disrespect our nation. I'd have preferred to see Chuck Norris go. Chuck Norris would have kicked Saddam in the face and captured Iraq all by himself in the name of America. Chuck Norris is an American. Sean Penn is just a punk.

And it goes beyond military involvement. When a hard-working shop employee and an immigrant family running a motel are murdered, Hollywood is silent. But when the killer--a vicious gang leader named is caught, tried, convicted, and sentenced to death, we see the outrage of Hollywood as people like Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Mike Farrell, Danny Glover and many other leftist tools rant and scream about the "injustice". They all went to Williams' funeral or sent their support but I don't recall ever hearing about them showing support for a murdered police officer or fallen soldier. What a bunch of sick, twisted off-the-path losers these people are.

So why do we watch them or pay money to see their movies? Well actually a lot of us don't. I won't patronize any film or concert with America-bashers in it. This means that I don't go to Wolf Trap when Linda Ronstadt comes to perform, and when I see Barbra Streisand on the TV I turn it off. And Martin Sheen, Woody Harrelson and Whoopi Goldberg can kiss my patriotic ass too. I also skip anything with unpatriotic third-raters like Janeane Garofalo or a Baldwin brother in it, but that's also because they suck as actors.

And I'm not alone in me decision to boycott these fools. Lots of other Americans do too. Just ask the country-music stars-turned-has-beens, the Dixie Chicks. They found out that when you bash America, Americans don't like it and they stop attending your concerts or buying your CDs. Likewise, Linda Ronstadt has been booed off of a couple of stages and fired from a Vegas gig because red-blooded Americans objected to her taking their money and then preaching about how rotten our country is. In fact sales are down for a lot of these leftists and several of them admit that it's due to their anti-American stances. They keep on though, hoping and praying for a new President who will reward them for all that they're doing to undermine this one. But we can give them their reward by electing someone even more conservative than George W. Bush in 2008. That'll send a powerful message to Hollywood telling them to get back to work reflecting our values instead of trying to use the stage and screen to assert their own. And in the meantime, please join me in not spending another dime to go to movies that they star in, rent their videos or CDs or otherwise support them. For a full list of these anti-American celebrities and the dumb stuff they've said and done, visit FamousIdiot.com and print out the list for the next time you go to the video store. I'm sure that the store has a few Humphrey Bogart movies in stock and besides being 100% pro-America, Bogie was a much better actor than any of these jokers will ever be.

  1. Love your attitude! Thanks for checking out my blog, too! As a lone conservative in NYC, it's nice to hear a man talk like a MAN! And your dog is GORGEOUS!
