Made some new friends today...NOT!

I swear, sometimes I feel like an American pilot down behind the lines in World War Two Germany. Everyone here--virtually EVERYONE--is a bright blue Liberal, and I can only walk safely among them if I don't actually open my mouth and speak.

But today, I was feeling the need to examine them a bit more closely, so I "went to the animal fair" and crashed the local Anti-Trump Temper Tantrum march to watch all of the millennials and old wash-up hippies continue to scream and cry about the results of a democratic election two months ago in which they did not get their way.

Here's a couple of the first ones I saw.

There were a lot of those signs here...and every one I saw was carried by a white chick. I think there were more "Black Lives" signs than black people here. The crowd was almost entirely white and mostly young, except for a few oldsters who seem to think it's still 1968. Very few 30-50 year olds, and no one--NO ONE--who looked like they had any sort of job with any real importance.

Of course there were the "generic protesters" who think every protest is a stump for their issue.

Really? When all we hear lately is how evil and racist and non-inclusive America is, who could possibly have thought that somehow we'd all become more loving towards and tolerant of the ones screaming the loudest about how crummy America is (despite giving them every possible opportunity to thrive and earn wealth) by giving one of their chief advocates the green light to use the Super Bowl itself to basically tell the rest of us to fuck off?

At least some of America's Finest responded by turning their backs on this uncultured and ungrateful lout.

I wonder what she'd do if somehow the police were able to selectively refuse to protect her or respond to calls for help from her and her family from now on? Of course they wouldn't, even if they could. Unlike Beyonce, her BLM-bankrolling husband, and the thugs who run around shouting the names of dead violent criminals as if they were some sort of saints, the men and women of American law enforcement are better than that. They go to work and do their jobs every day because they believe that ALL lives matter, even relatively non-beneficial ones like Travon Martin, Mike Brown, LaVoy Finicum or Beyonce.

Oh--and I note for the record that this One-Percenter who regularly champions gun control also took to wearing bandoliers of fake bullets as part of her costume. So I guess that makes her a racist hater AND a hypocrite.

A terrorist returns

Lori, for those of you with short memories, was one of those special snowflakes. Raised by two liberal college professors in New York, she attended prestigious private schools and was accepted into the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, but being a pampered daughter of wealthy liberals, her heart yearned for social justice, so she dropped out of MIT and headed south to support Marxist revolutionaries, first in El Salvador and then in Peru, where she wound up getting arrested for being part of a plot by the Túpac Amaru Revolutionary Movement (MRTA) to violently overthrow the Peruvian government and sent to a Peruvian prison where even her trust fund could not help her. She first got a life sentence, but she was later re-tried in 1996 and given a twenty year sentence instead. (This was the trial in which she denounced the court and screamed from the dock that "There are no criminal terrorists in the MRTA! It is a revolutionary movement!" Nice girl. Nice, repentant, innocent girl. During this time, she became a hero to the Marxist left,both for her "sacrifice" and for her continued statements against capitalism, globalism, environmentalism and all the other usual leftist tropes. She also managed to bang out a kid with another convicted terrorist. During this time, she was supported by the Usual Suspects. Jimmy Carter called for her release, Congresswoman Maxine Waters offered an amendment on the House floor calling for her to be freed (It failed, 189 to 234) and Ramsey Clark signed on as one of her attorneys. None of that swayed the Peruvians, however. They knew full well what she was and they were all too familiar with the killers that she'd allied herself with. They kept her in prison despite further terrorist attacks committed in her name by the MRTA with the avowed goal of freeing her.

Well now her time is up. She's finally been released from prison and all forms of supervisory paraole, and she's on her way back to New York City with her baby terrorist, now six years old, in tow. (I'm sure that she'll sponsor the kid's father into our country as soon as she can.) She's still an unrepentant Marxist at age 46, and she has no job and no experience other than as a leftist terrorist and America-hater. That being the case, I see her being offered a professorship by Columbia or some other leftist college in short order, just like so many other terrorists and cop killers have been. She'll also likely be deluged with offers to write articles and columns for countless leftist blogs and publications and treated as if she's just cured cancer or otherwise done something good or noble over the last couple of decades. Obama will probably meet with her too, and his long-time pals, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, will likely not be far away. Birds of a feather, don't you know, and cockroaches like that always take care of their own.

New Yorkers, you'd do well to look at her pictures and remember that face. And if you see her at in the subway or at next year's Macy's parade, you might not want to stand too close. Especially if she's holding a big shopping bag and it's ticking.

Julienne Moore herself sits on the board for Planned Parenthood, so while it apparently disturbs her to have to explain to her daughter how some kids got shot by a criminal psychopath, it's obviously not disturbing at all to explain to that same daughter why she believes that other kids can and should be killed off as a mere convenience so long as they haven't actually left the womb yet. Can someone explain that one to me?

Anyway, these idiots don't think that you and I should have firearms, because our firearms somehow equate to danger for everyone else, or so they say. I'm thinking that if they really believed that, they would not have the personal armed security that many of them have around their homes and studios and in their entourages.

When these useful idiots give up their own armed security and swear off any and all roles in any movies or shows depicting violent acts perpetrated with firearms, then I'll consider taking them seriously. Until then, I'll just dismiss them as typical deranged liberals and avoid paying money to see anything that they are involved in.

Oh, and by the way...since all of these liberals are so famous and presumably wealthy, and since the organization's founder, Michael Bloomberg is a billionaire, why are they begging for donations from average people on their website? Can't they spend their own money to advocate for what they want?

Across America, Muslim activists imposing censorship on American students

Here we go again.

Another protest of a campus showing of the movie "American Sniper" by muslim students. This time in Maryland.

The University of Maryland announced it will postpone indefinitely an upcoming screening of “American Sniper” after Muslim students protested – calling the film Islamophobic, racist and nationalistic.

“American Sniper only perpetuates the spread of Islamophobia and is offensive to many Muslims around the world for good reason,” read a petition launched by the university’s Muslim Students Association. “This movie dehumanizes Muslim individuals, promotes the idea of senseless mass murder, and portrays negative and inaccurate stereotypes.”

The critically-acclaimed film about the life of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle was supposed to be screened May 6 and 7. It was “postponed” on April 22 by the university’s Student Entertainment Events (SEE).

This is not the first time that Muslims and their supporters have tried to silence the film.

In early April the University of Michigan canceled a campus screening only to later reverse that decision after a national uproar.

Similarly, when the film was shown at Eastern Michigan University, the Usual Suspects disrupted the showing.

Ahmed Abbas, earning his Ph.D. in psychology, Layali Alsadah, junior majoring in psychology, Jenna Hamed, senior majoring in apparel and textiles merchandise, and Sabreen Dari, junior majoring in psychology, worked with 35 other students to shut down the 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. showings of the Academy Award-winning film.

The protesters filed onto the stage under the screen and held up two signs. One read, “Is this your idea of dialogue?” and the other one had the definition of propaganda.

Hamed began speaking to the crowd about why the protesters where there.

“Do you want me to play a movie painting your people this way?” Hamed asked the crowd.

Department of Public Safety officers were called to escort the students out. According to Sergeant Shana Thompson, four students were arrested for disturbing the peace. They were released 40 minutes later and no charges were filed.

In March, they pulled this stunt at the University of Missouri and they're planning another protest on a campus in Texas.

Frankly, this is typical of the Left. No one is forcing anyone to watch this movie anywhere that it's being shown, but the Liberal Left--the ones who always claim to support "choice", are now demanding that NO ONE even have the choice to see this movie.

The Muslims Student Association said “American Sniper” creates a “dangerous climate for Muslim students and severely devalues the community atmosphere.”

The MSA said the only way to make the University of Maryland more inclusive and diverse is to prevent “American Sniper” from being shown on campus.

So there you go. You can't be trusted to make up your own mind. In the name of making mostly foreign students here feel safe and/or included, Americans have to accept restrictions on their right to choose (unless they are choosing to have an abortion) and we all have to accept censorship, with the foreign kids and their peers making the call.

Frankly, this is about as outrageous as a bunch of Japanese students coming to America in 1946 and demanding that no one be allowed to see a movie about Pearl Harbor.

well here's my suggestion to every muslim on an American campus who doesn't feel loved or welcomed: Either start working on your assimilation skills or just go back to whereever it is that you voluntarily came here from. I means, the last I checked, we no longer send our military abroad to kidnap muslim teens and force them to attend American universities.

On taxes and Liberals and taxing liberals.

On another blog's comment section this past couple of days, (blog name withheld because I like that blog and don't wish to incite a flame war there) I've found myself challenged by a few people who seem to truly believe that, in order for us to be "civilized", we who work must tax ourselves until we bleed white to provide all sorts of benefits for the lowest members of our society, typically those who choose not to work. And if that's not reason enough, well then we have to give those Democrat voters deadbeats more free stuff just because somewhere in America, some corporation that produces good or provides services while creating jobs might have gotten a break and had to pay a bit less in taxes, and of course we'll not mention the fact that corporate taxes in America are already way higher than in any other developed country in the world.

(And this, ladies ad gentlemen, is why so many of them relocate their plants to other countries. That and the double whammy of blood-sucking unions and environmental whack-jobs that make production or virtually anything here both inefficient and extremely costly.)

Suddenly I had an idea...an epiphany, if you will. Henceforth, spending decisions on all entitlement programs, both new ones and increases in spending on current ones, will be taken away from Congress completely and placed on the ballot. The citizens will get to decide from now on if we pay for Obamaphones or EBT cards or public housing or grants to colleges. Anything that does not provide a benefit to every single American--like the military or a border fence along the US/Mexican border--gets approved at the voting booth.

And the next catch is--and this is the part that I really like--is that no one can vote on these tax bills unless they actually pay taxes. That's right--they need to show W2s or other indication that they pay the applicable federal or state taxes, depending on which entity the program is seeking money from. This means, for example, that people who want free Obamaphones but do not work cannot bum-rush the polls and vote themselves these free phones.

Finally--and here's the best part--everyone who votes in favor of one of these new taxes to fund some entitlement program also agrees that only they and the other people who voted in favor (or who did not show up to vote) will be the ones assessed the new taxes. That way, the burden falls 100% onto the people who want the program (or didn't bother to turn out). In other words, you can vote to raise your own taxes to fund National Public radio or give a grant to some pornographic "artists" but you cannot make me or anyone else who objected pay for it--it's all on you who wanted such things, with direct-withdrawals from your own bank account.

I say that we try this for a few years and see just how many liberals are wiling to put their money where their mouths are and write the checks that they currently demand that the rest of us back.

And if you want an indicator of how liberals really feel about actually paying for the things that they support, keep in mind that Massachusetts has a program where the rich can voluntarily elect to pay a higher tax rate (5.85% instead of the minimum 5.3%) in order to pay for social amenities for others.

Millionaire and "champion of the poor" Elizabeth Warren refuses to volunteer to pay the higher tax.

John Kerry refused to pay the higher tax as well. And he got busted keeping his new yacht in neighboring Rhode Island to avoid paying taxes to MA on that as well.

In fact, Massachusetts, a massively liberal state, has three million tax filers at last count but only 934 of them volunteered to pay the higher tax to fund the bigger government that most of them presumably want.

I won't even bother mentioning liberal icon Al Sharpton's tax issues.

So yeah, that's my plan. Make the people who want more social spending step up and accept the entire cost of these programs. And then when the welfare crowd sees their cable TV go off and notices that their EBT card didn't recharge on the first of the month, they can direct their anger solely at the people who claimed to support these things right up until they were asked to foot the bills.

Seven Reasons To Go See American Sniper.

Even if something's wrong with you and you're not a fan of Chris Kyle, Navy SEALs, the U.S. Military, Clint Eastwood or America, there are still seven great reasons to go to the theater and plunk down your money to watch American Sniper.

Michael Moore hates it. (Well Duh. If it's pro-America, America's fattest hypocrite anti-capitalist millionaire is gonna hate it. But still..)

Seth Rogen hates it. (As if a guy who is only famous for playing sexually-frustrated potheads in cheesy movies really counts...)

Alec Baldwin hates it. (Actually I suspect that he just chimed in to get another fifteen minutes of fame, lest we all forget who this annoying elitist is.)

Bill Maher hates it. (I guess he's trying to show us that he's got more to say than just calling Sarah Palin the "C word".)

Russell Brand hates it. (Can anyone even tell me who this faggy Brit that looks like he gets his mail sent to a dumpster is?)

MSNBC hates it. (Not really surprising. MSNBC makes Al Jazeera look like Stars and Stripes.)

Jesse Ventura hates it. (Why? Because Chris Kyle kicked his America-hating ass, that's why!)

I plan to see it this week-end, but frankly, if that many top-tier gold-plated douchebags hate something, I can't help but like it, even sight unseen. Granted, I'm sure that much of their loathing comes from the fact that none of them can walk by a mirror without seeing the guy who is too much of a pansy to ever do the things that Kyle did, and that's got to sting.

Apparently the following editorial cartoon by Gary Varvel run in last Friday's Indy Star hit a bit too close to home with the Obama Administration, because the Indy Star promptly retracted it and apologized, claiming that "many people were offended by it".

And while it's true that most every Liberal opinion board and blog is going nuts about this cartoon today, I can't recall a newspaper pulling and apologizing for editorial cartoons that offend normal decent Americans. My own suspicion is that heat was applied by the White House, and since most of today's media still slavishly works to curry favor with Obama, they caved like they never would have done had the "offended parties" been veterans or gun owners or Americans with conservative ideals.

The cartoon is spot on though, and while it's critics line up to call it "racist", none have yet offered a convincing argument claiming that it's untrue.

Elitist Liberal Professor and Left-Wing Activist makes a Federal Case over her DUI Arrest.

OK, here we go.

Dorothy Hoogland Verkerk, an art history professor at the University of North Carolina, got nailed for DUI in May of 2011 when a firefighter spotted her apparently in distress behind the wheel of her car and checked on her. Realizing that she was drunk, he told her not to drive but either because she feared the consequences of the police arriving or because she believes that she's better and smarter than everyone else, she sped away from him. He called the police, who subsequently located her and arrested her for driving while drunk as a rock ape.

According to court documents, Shatley was on his way to a fire scene the night of May 27, 2011, when he saw Verkerk’s Mercedes stopped in an intersection. He noticed that the headlights were off and that the interior and auxiliary lights were lit and that the driver’s side window was partially opened despite a pouring rain. Shatley continued to his destination where he was no longer needed, and headed back to the firehouse.
On the way back, Shatley claims he pulled up behind Verkerk’s car as she was driving with a hazard light on and was weaving while driving much slower than the speed limit. Shatley told the driver of the firetruck to turn on the lights and siren to prevent other cars from passing.
Verkerk’s car then swerved to the right and hit the curb before coming to a stop, according to the documents.
Shatley hopped out of the fire truck and approached her car to see if she was ok. He did not ask if she was drunk but did urge her to park her car and have someone pick her up, according to documents. She told Shatley that she would, but then drove off. She was picked up by Chapel Hill Police 10 minutes later and charged with driving while impaired and had her license taken away.

Now most people would just accept that they'd screwed up and let it go. But not Dorothy Hoogland Verkerk. No way. It apparently doesn't matter to her that she drove drunk and endangered everyone else on the road that night, or that her conduct broke the laws of her community and much of America. Nope. Three years later she's still working on a lawsuit designed to attack those responsible for her arrest--herself excluded, naturally--and she's wasted a considerable amount of the courts' time and taxpayers' money in the process.

This is the difference between Liberals and Americans, folks. Americans have an inbred sense of Honor and Integrity and Americans stand up and accept responsibility for their actions. It's what John Wayne would have done. But Liberals? Nope. They lie, they run away, they slander those who dare point our their wrongs, and when all else fails, they sue everyone in sight.

And this is why I hate Liberals and would only brake if one walked in front of my car out of concern for how much damage my vehicle would sustain.

This cow's case needs to be tossed out of court ASAP and she and her lawyer need to be fined the cost of dealing with it. Then she needs to be run out of both the university and the town. But as leftist as Chapel Hill is, that's not going to happen. It could only happen in America, and Chapel Hill, like Berkeley, Boulder and Ann Arbor, is far to liberal to ever be mistaken for a legitimate part of America.

So because one alleged "artist" from Mexico started an on-line petition reportedly signed by "dozens" of people, the upcoming Dayton Air Show scrapped a pyrotechnic display featuring the B-29 Fifi and a simulated atomic bomb.

Dammit. This sort of rampmant political-correctness-run-amuck is the sort of thing that I'd expect from spineless government officials, not organizers of a show dedicated to the air power that keeps America, and by extension the rest of the free world, free.

Frankly, who cares what Gabriela Pickett thinks? Before she set up her leftist art center in Dayton, her most relevant job was as a quality control checker at an underwear factory. She's never produced anything tangible or contributed anything to our country except criticism, and now she's used a tribute to the great people who ended a war and preserved world peace as a springboard for her own "hey, look at me" moment. And the airshow, sadly enough, obliged her, even though she could only get a few scattered losers and kooks to sign her petition. And some of those kooks hail from Japan, and they don't deserve a say in matters like this since they started the war and caused world misery on a scale that not only required that atomic bombs be dropped on them as the only way to end it but justified it morally.

Shame on the air show folks for caving. Seriously.

Store owners say plastic bag ban causes more shoplifting

The liberals who believe that they are so much smarter and better-intentioned than everyone else mandated that local businesses stop using disposable plastic shopping bags for customer purchases. Now the grocery stores that were forced to comply are seeing a massive uptick in shoplifting as local residents are using their own bags and backpacks to conceal and steal tons of merchandise.

They also point to a rise in e.coli-related illnesses as many of the customers/shoplifters fail to wash the bags that they use to carry the food that they've bought or stolen, but hey--that's what we have Obamacare for, right?

Sadly, the liberal thinking is so pervasive in that area that even many of the businesses that are affected are afraid to go on record for fear of being labeled "anti-homeless" in the local community.

So being "anti-homeless" is now a bad thing for a business that wants to attract and keep the business of decent folk? Is Seattle really so far gone that parents actually want their children exposed to hordes of unwashed crazy people who walk around talking to themselves with their hands down their pants? I guess I'm wrong for Seattle, as I'd only patronize businesses that took efforts to keep people like that out of their stores and away from the food that I plan to buy and consume.

I remind business owners plagued by local liberals (or unions, or high taxes or anti-gun legislatures) that relief is only a relocation away. Pack up your business and move to a free state, and watch your profits soar and your losses due to taxation, regular theft and frivolous litigation just melt right away. Or stay and suffer. Either way, every business owner ultimately gets to vote with their feet by deciding to stay and suffer the liberals or move to places where American values still predominate. Gun businesses and manufacturing concerns are starting to get it. How long before other businesses small and large start seeing the light and moving away from areas blighted by unrestrained liberalism?

I'm thinking that Rand's Atlas Shrugged needs to be mandatory reading in all colleges and advanced high school programs, as we're starting to see the producers of this country emulate the ones in that book and moving away from the second-handers and repressive government meddling. This is a good thing that we need to see happen more often. And then, of course, we need to find some way to keep the liberals who have ruined places like the west coast and the northeast from following the businesses that they've chased away and flooding into other red states like hordes of locusts, bringing their constant carping and demands for massive regulation and higher taxes with them.

AA Battery 1, Drone 0 in Pennsylvania

A hunt club wants to engage in pigeon hunting. Pigeon hunting is legal in PA. A leftist "Animal rights" group harasses the hunters, so the hunters move their shooting to the most remote part of their property. So what to the leftists do? Do they ignore the people doing what they are legally allowed to do on their own property, respecting the rights and freedoms of others? Of course not...they're liberals. They buy a remote-controlled, camera-mounted helicopter drone and put it over the club in an attempt to continue to harass the shooters and disrupt their shoots and also to make videos of the hunters which they intend to post to Youtube and other internet media.

It's not hard to figure out what happens next. If you bother people with guns by flying remote-controlled helicopters over their heads on their own land, you pretty much have to expect that your nuisance toy is going to get shot down.

I think that it's funnier than hell and congratulate the marksmen of the hunt club. It's just a shame that the remote-controlled pest was able to be recovered and not a total write-off. and of course the liberals state that they intend to keep the harassment going until the shoots are stopped.

That right there is the difference between conservatives and liberals, folks. If a conservative doesn't approve of an otherwise legal activity, he or she doesn't participate in it. If a liberal doesn't approve of an otherwise legal activity, he or she will do whatever they can to ensure that no one else can participate in it.

Another Hollywood has-been jumps into the election fray.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a young Mark Hamill was actually relevant as he played Luke Skywalker in the first three episodes of the Star Wars saga. And, truth be told, they were the only movies in the series that were worth the theater admission price. (and that last one, Return of the Jedi, was about one Ewok away from being ridiculous.)

There's no denying that Mark Hamill was cool back then. Heck, I'll go so far as to say that he redeemed himself for his role in Corvette Summer. But that was the late 70's and early 80's. Fast forward to the year 2012, and he's a bloated, corpulent has-been who has to hang out at comic book conventions, begging people to pay for his autograph and hoping against all hope for another acting gig. But since that's not likely to happen any time soon, Hamill has apparently decided to raise his visibility and establish himself as a member of Hollywood's far-left cadre by coming out and claiming that Mitt Rommney is not human. He also doubles down and says that anyone who doesn't vote for The Zero is "insane", because without Obama, "the middle class will disappear."

Sounds to me like he's spent the last couple of decades hitting the hard drugs with Carrie Fisher. And credibility-wise, he ranks up there with Randy Quaid, who at last report was still in Canada, hiding from the "star whackers" that are out to get him.

What is it with today's Hollywood culture that totally unhinges people and turns bright young men and women into bitter old liberal America-haters? It didn't always used to be that way, you know. Once Hollywood reflected America's values instead of trying to impose it's own on us. That was when Hollywood was great and admired worldwide. But back then, no-talents like Alec Baldwin, Julia Roberts and Mark Hamill would be pushing brooms on sound stages after hours if they could get hired at all, and "writers" like Michael Moore would be beaten and tossed out of the studio on their butts.

Yes, the times have certainly changed in the entertainment industry, and not for the better. Come back, John Wayne...and bring Bogie and Jimmy Stewart with you!

More proof that nothing succeeds like failure

Rosie O'Donnell has had yet another show cancelled.

By my count, this makes three public failures for Rosie (four in you count K-Mart firing her as it's spokesperson (spokesblimp?) after they determined that her bitterness and anti-gun crusading were turning off the consumers that they were trying to attract), who was actually once quite popular before she began spewing raw hate at gun owners, conservatives, and George W. Bush and interjecting her far-left political screeds into everything she said, even if she was hosting some high-achiever schoolkids or interviewing a popular TV star. You'd think that she'd have figured it out by now, but Americans don't want to tune in every day to hear some rich person who lives a life of luxury dumping on the very country that made it possible for her to become rich while at the same time demeaning and criticizing the rest of us if we choose to own guns (while hiring armed bodyguards to protect herself), vote for a candidate that she doesn't like, or even dare to live in a red state. You'd think that she's have learned from watching fellow nasty lefties like the Air America team or Al Gore fall, but if there's one thing that Rosie O'Donnell is, it's persistent. And she persistently fails at every new pubic endeavor now, taking a whole bunch of new investors' money down the toilet with her every time she gets a new forum and opens her mouth. She and other freedom-hating liberals should catch the clue bus and stop trying to bully the rest of us into adopting their views on the strength of nothing more than petty insults and vile diatribes. Maybe they should try reason and facts sometime. Pity that those things rarely if ever support the liberal positions on anything, though.

Justice denied in Philly. Celebrity Cop-Killer escapes death sentence

IN other news today, saying he wanted to avoid another three decades of appeals - and a new public forum for Mumia Abu-Jamal - Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams said today he will not seek another death sentence for convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal. (The murderous thug formerly known as Wesley Cook.)

For those who are unfamiliar, Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner, 25 and newly married, was on patrol in Center City the night of Dec. 9, 1981 when, according to trial testimony, the officer pulled over a car driven by Abu-Jamal's brother, William Cook, at 13th and Locust Streets. Abu-Jamal, moonlighting as a cabdriver, recognized his brother's car, ran toward them and shot Faulkner, witnesses testified. A gunfight followed and Abu-Jamal was hit by a bullet from Faulkner's gun. He was found slumped on a curb.

What the news story cited doesn’t report is that the bullets taken from the body of Officer Faulkner were ballistically matched to the handgun found on the scene, a revolver that was registered to Wesley Cook/Abu-Jamal. There were also several eye-witnesses to the shooting, including people who knew Cook/Abu-Jamal on sight. In short, this case was as cut-and-dried as any case ever was. There really was no reasonable doubt, which was why the trial jury found him guilty.

But this being Philadelphia, the race-baiters and liberals quickly got involved. Abu-Jamal’s Black Panther associates began intimidating people and drumming up a publicity storm of lies and false accusations of a frame-up, and soon enough, numerous groups and self-important individuals like Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Mike Farrell jumped into the mix to proclaim this scumbag’s “innocence” and claim that the police, for no rational reason, fabricated the case against Abu-Jamal, despite the fact that he was found lying next to the police officer that had died from wounds caused by a bullet from his own gun, and that his own injury was caused by bullets from the officer’s gun, and that the entire gunfight had been witnessed by numerous people in broad daylight.

Since that conviction, every appellate court that reviewed the trial and the jury verdict has affirmed it No court has ever found fault with the trial, and the only issue has been whether the jury was given proper sentencing instructions, a minor technical point that had no bearing on Abu-Jamal’s actual guilt. Still, that was enough to cause his original sentence to be overturned, requiring a new sentencing and opening the door for an entirely new appeals process. So to that extent, I can at least see the reasoning behind this decision, but anyone who continues to proclaim this dirtbag’s innocence either has an ulterior motive or seriously needs a check-up from the neck up.

But now, thirty years after Abu-Jamal should have been dragged out back of the courthouse and summarily shot (in a Just world…), he’s now being re-sentenced to life without parole, his death sentence gone for good. He’ll doubtless continue to hold celebrity status in the eyes of those on the left, from Hollywood liberals to Obama pal Cornell West. But one can always hope that he’s quickly placed back into general population and with any luck, someone will shank him.

Dirty hippies are now "just like us"? I don't think so!

Well it’s starting.
The hippies, dirtbags “protestors” who claim to be just like the rest of us (other than the fact that they don’t have and won’t take jobs and sit around for days in their own filth and feces, smoking dope and having sex with each other under tarps) are now showing us how they respect the laws “just like the rest of us do.”

In Boston, over 100 have been arrested for trying to set up a camp in a prohibited area and refusing to vacate it.
In New York City, hundreds more are defying the city and refusing to vacate a privately-owned park so that it can be cleaned of their own refuse and offal.
In Denver, hundreds more are refusing to leave a city park that closes at 11PM, and local scumbags “activists” who weren’t even part of the protest group are flocking into the park just to be part of any fight with the police that breaks out.

Yeah, just like you and me.

One unifying factor that defines these shitbirds citizens no matter which liberal city that they are currently infesting is that they have no real message or agenda other than causing mayhem for it’s own sake. This it what the core of these groups are all about, in stark contrast to TEA party groups comprised of ordinary people who have jobs, mortgages and an actual message (stop spending our money). These losers have no real point or focus, which is why the powers-that-be, the puppeteers steering them (Soros and Obama, among others) have to supplement their ranks with paid union organizers, at least during daylight hours when people are paying attention to them. These loser kids can’t even be trusted to run their own protests by the people who are benefitting from their actions. (That would be Obama and every Democrat who worries about their failings being on the front page of the papers every day.)

So unless you are a drug-addled, no-job-having hippie who reeks of B.O. and just shows up places because other smelly hippies are already in those places smoking dope and defecating in public, these people are not like you at all. I know for sure that they’re not like me. You and I, we obey the rules and respect lawful authority. We also provide for ourselves instead of sitting around demanding that others be taxed to pay for their rent, student loans, health care and basic sustenance and that the municipal government agencies and local businesses give them toilets, food, shelter, and pretty much everything else that they want for free. As much as they like to paint themselves as being just like our nation's founders and the civil rights heroes, they're just the opposite. Those people fought for their freedom and independence and these kids are demanding to be more dependent, insisting on a bigger nanny state to run their lives at the expense of other people. Frankly I’m thinking that we’d do better as a nation if we simply rounded them up and shipped the whole lot of them off to North Korea in trade for a few hundred North Koreans who just want to come here and be free and productive.

OK, it's official. Deport Shane Bauer now.

After writing yesterday's post, I caught another story that showed that yesterday's reported insult wasn't his first slap at America since we paid for his "release". He also did it a couple of days previously during a press conference in Oman.

Bauer said: "Two years in prison is too long and we sincerely hope for the freedom of other political prisoners and other unjustly imprisoned people in America and Iran."

So now he pompously elevates himself and his comrades, pretending that they were "political prisoners" instead of just common trespassers and illegal aliens in another country. And then he goes on to backhand America again, talking about "political prisoners and others unjustly held in America", then compares our system to that of Iran. It's obvious that this spoiled trust fund brat learned nothing during his two-year "time out", not even what it takes to be a real political prisoner, i.e., the guts to stand up publicly and speak out against tyranny in a place where the tyrant can still get hold of you. He and his two pals didn't do that. They weren't out there speaking against oppression like Ghandi or Lech Walesa. No, they just blithely walked into someone else's country for a picnic without asking permission because they decided that borders don't apply to them. That's not defiance; that's just stupid.

Bauer also apparently didn't learn how to appreciate America the same way that many other people around the world who truly understand what freedom and opportunity are do. Those people either work to come here and be a part of our great nation or work to make their countries more like ours. But this kid...he just sucks on his silver spoon and thumbs his nose at America, despite the fact that we're the ones who paid the bribe to buy him out of the trouble that he got himself into.

Two and a half years in the jails of a repressive regime with nothing to do but reflect upon how great the country that he came from really is and he learned nothing from it. After all of that, he still hates us. How many other people do you know that could be that dense?

I'll pledge a hundred bucks to send him permanently back to Iran tomorrow, and I'll do it for the good of my country.

Well that didn't take long.

When American hiker/liberal idiots Shane Bauer, Josh Fattal, and Sarah Shourd got snatched up by the Iranians a couple of years back after foolishly deciding to go larking about along the Iraq/Iran border, I was quick to note that they were three young people from U of C Berkeley who claimed nebulous "jobs" such as "environmental activist" and "freelance journalist".

I predicted back then that they obviously felt that their anti-US sentiments would protect them from harm, basing this on their liberal backgrounds and their presence in the freaking war zone in defiance of State Department recommendations. Sure enough, just as soon as they are all three back in our country, they knock it in one of their first interviews.

The hikers' detention, [Shane] Bauer said, was "never about crossing the unmarked border between Iran and Iraq. We were held because of our nationality."

He said they don't know whether they had crossed the border. "We will probably never know."
The irony of it all, he said, "is that Sarah, Josh and I oppose U.S. policies towards Iran which perpetuate this hostility."

So they freely admit not even knowing if they'd crossed the border or not, but still claim that they were only detained due to being Americans...and then they bash American foreign policy in the same sentence, ignoring the fact that it was only a lot of American diplomacy behind the scenes (and probably a lot of American cash) that brought about their release. If that isn't hallmark liberal whacky-think in action, I don't know what would be.

I have to wonder if there isn't some way that we could get Iran to agree to take these three useless and ungrateful trust fund kids back and give us a few normal Iranian dissidents who would jump at the chance to become loyal, faithful, hard-working Americans.

And the Liberal efforts to indoctrinate America's children continues...

So now in addition to the bad economic news and war news, we have news stories about how the gay special interest groups want the children's TV Show Sesame Street to let male charcaters Bert and Ernie get married. They also want the show to add a "transgender" character, better known as a "shemale".

So if the liberals get their way, it won't be long before the Obama Administration takes action and parents across America will be forced to explain to their pre-schoolers why Bert is bending Ernie over the counter and why the gaunt, shaky guy in the dress and high heels is lurking in the alley next to Mr. Hooper's store, offering to trade sex for crack with anyone who walks by.
Is there anything that these people won't despoil in pursuit of the liberal agenda? Wasn't it bad enough when they put Michelle Obama on the show last year? I guess that in America today--at least in the blue states--even the smallest children are expected to sacrifice their innocence on the altar of Liberalism. Pathetic.
