Liberals just make me shake my head...

So last night at work I'm just driving along--minding my own business--when I see this fast-moving little red Toyota RAV 4. I stop it for speeding and immediately determine that it is owned by a liberal.

I know it's owned by a liberal because the entire rear half of the vehicle is covered with bumper stickers. About half of these stickers say stuff about how we need to love each other, respect each other, and practice tolerance and acts of kindness, etc, etc, etc.
The rest said nasty things about Republicans, Christians and George Bush.

I truly wish I'd had my camera with me. I mean, this just had to be seen to be believed. The message was clear: We must love each other and embrace diversity but only if our fellow humans do not like God or the GOP. Those people we have to hate and mock because liberal "diversity" only extends to people who share the approved liberal points of view.

Maybe someday a liberal will come along that actually makes sense intellectually, but this one was just representative of the sort of mainstream liberalism that makes thinking peoples' heads hurt.

Now I'd already made up my mind to stop this vehicle for speeding before I saw all the stickers, but in fairness, this was one of those instances where a really good attitude on the part of the driver might have influenced my decision to give a warning as opposed to a $165.00 ticket that would add four points to the driver's license. However in this case, all of the the spiteful and bigoted stickers said more about the driver's real attitude than any improvised assertions of contrition ever could. He got the ticket.

It just goes to show that if you're genuinely mean or just stupid, it's really not a good idea to advertise it by pasting your derisory thoughts about your fellow human beings all over the side of the car that your parents bought you.
