Ah, Jesse, Jesse, Jesse...

America's favorite poverty pimp is in the news again, according to Judicial Watch. After the 2001 terrorist attacks, our Department of Homeland Security implemented background checks to keep national security risks away from our ports and transportation infrastructure. This past week, 70 railroad workers in the Chicago area were fired when their background checks disclosed felony criminal records. And not having anything else to get him into the news, Jesse Jackson checked, found out that most of the 70 were black, and immediately began organizing rallies to get the felons re-hired. Apparently in Jesse Jackson's world, national security is not as important as ensuring that criminals have good jobs (if those criminals are black AND he can take the credit for it, of course.)
