Just great...NY judge says that Illegal aliens can drive without licenses

Just don't YOU try it.

In another case of a Liberal granting rights to illegal aliens that they've never had and never should get, Westbury, Long Island Justice Thomas Liotti dismissed charges of Driving Without a License against illegal alien Rafael Puma, stating that he desires to reopen debate on the issue of illegals not being eligible for driver's licenses. He says that he expects to be appealed but apparently he's more interested in making a name for himself and advancing his personal agenda than he is in following the law.

Story here

Here we go again, folks. A guy who has already shown his total lack of respect for American law comes into our country against our wishes and in violation of our laws, then he gets behind the wheel of a vehicle, knowing that he's not allowed to drive, and gives us all the bird again. When he gets caught, not only is he not jailed and deported, but he's not even given the fine that you or I would get if we drove without bothering to get a license. Once again, some liberal in a black robe comes along and grants him and every other illegal special rights and privileges that are not available to everyday Americans as if they are honored guests in our country instead of the trespassing, thieving scum that they are.

I can't stand it.

Lack of respect for the law is by no means limited to illegal aliens and seems to extend to the lower levels of New York's judiciary. A trial judge is to decide a case or controversy in accord with existing law and leave to higher courts any modification of the law. No matter what the level of judiciary it is no function of it to reopen any debates about political issues for that is the function of the political branches of government. Anyone appearing before this judge opposing an illegal alien should demand that the judge, having taken a public position at odds with the law and in favor of law breakers, must disqualify himself as prejudiced. Better however, would be the judge's removal from the bench for his improper conduct.
