My one regret is that I didn't score a ride in EAA's one back when they'd let people sit in the right seat for six minutes and then give you a log entry for B-17 time.
Just a few years ago, saw a B-17 emergency land in a corn field near were I live in Oswego, Illinois and burn to the ground. Saddest thing ever. ('Liberty Bell').
